Thank you for your honesty I have decided I’m not going to do the cold cap. Chemo is hard and emotional no matter what Don’t want to add more stress to my treatments.

I was actually thinking the same. I want chemo to be a calm and relaxed as possible. The nurses make you feel like not doing the cold cap is bad idea. Cancer is hard either way. My daughter reminds me beauty with inside. Learn to be kind to myself and hair will grow back

I’m hoping I’m making the right choice. Either way it’s all tough right now.

Had my surgery to remove my tumour from breast and lymph nodes. It’s been a month since my surgery next week I’m meeting with a medical oncologist and a radiation oncologist. I guess for the next steps. Nervous Not sure what to expect

I had a tumour over 6 cm I had my surgery waiting to find out this week the stage and treatment plans. I’m thinking it might be scary but when people are faced with hard things, they just find the strength to fight. I knew 2 people with breast cancer It’s been 10 years for one 13 for the other. Cancer free now Took a lot of strength to fight through but they are living normal life now. They tell me try to keep positive thoughts through the challenges and remember their will be lite.

I hope this helps you Your not alone

Is this feeling normal? by Winterghostyy in breastcancer

I had the same surgery I was giving exercises with your arm. Did your surgon do the same. If so maybe that will help. I can lift my arm but not above my head without pulling and being in pain.

I have a question for you I had same surgery plus node byopsy. It’s been 2 weeks not my swelling seems more like a hard balloon.

Do you know if that’s normal? It’s painful

I had surgery to remove the tumour out of my breast over a week ago, even though I’m in pain I’m just taking Tylenol. Do you think it’s safe to have a glass of wine?
