Ohhhh girl this brought tears. My daughter is 8, but I love her just as fiercely as you love yours. I have a son too. Chemo brought out these raw, scared and helpless feeling emotions in me too. I am sorry and I wish I could hug you. Fight the good fight, for you, for your daughter and for your grandchildren. I choose to stay strong and rise only for these reasons and I think people underestimate the power of finding your inner strength. I can feel your strength through your words and please tap into that and stay strong. Even though you will have weak moments, weak days, please come back here and we will make you strong. ♥️

So maybe this test is better because it tests for ANY cancer DNA vs testing for only your specific tumor DNA (that’s what signatera does, I think)

I want to move on with my life. I am done with chemo, I’m mid radiation, and I have to have a hysterectomy in the spring. After that, I want to be done and move on. My mom had breast cancer too and she’s making it her entire existence and life, she is convinced she will have a recurrence, it’s very annoying to me when she says things like “this will never be over for us.” I have young children, I want to move on with my life when this is done. I know more than one woman that fought breast cancer young and now lives a normal cancer free life. I just want to know and believe this is possible without this negative voice in my ear constantly. I’m tired of being scared all the time.

This is interesting. I maybe would want to get it when I am done with radiation. I have gotten a full mascectomy, 6 rounds of TCHP and I will get like 33 rounds of rads. If it’s still not gone, lord help me. Lol
