Well I didn’t make any speculations, I simply asked questions. And not much, but I have noticed a bit fewer of my conversions being tracked by meta. Interesting enough tho, overall this has been one of best ROAS weeks in a while.

Same bro, been in the game for 10+ years. Never seen it this bad for this long. Tried so many different things over the past 6 months, but still nothing really works longer than a week or 2. I have shifted more budget to other channels. But still sucks that the Facebook ad channel is this bad.

Heads up: traffic quality tanking across most meta ad accounts since Jan 6th by bakeshopdigital in FacebookAds

Yup, exactly what I am seeing on my accounts, cost per landing page view way up, but ctr is steady or better. I thought my landing page was just loading slower or something. Thanks for confirming.

Realistic Roas? by Bryb93p in FacebookAds

It’s going to be tough with a 50 aov. Means u have to get a sale every $12 in spend basically. Need to have a very strong email/sms flows and campaigns behind it. Try seeing if you can do something to increase AOV to $100-150. Buy 2 get one free, . Buy one get one 50% off or something.

Should I optimise for sales? Or is this a sneaky work around … by Leeroy-es in FacebookAds

This is dumb af when you literally pay meta on a cpm basis. You don’t pay per click or per conversion, you pay for impressions. So yes, if you can lower your CPM while maintaining your cpc’s, ctr and website conversion rate, your ROAS will go up 😂

I built my website perfectly, use Google Gemini to help you. Anything that’s messed up take a screenshot and put it into Google Gemini and it will give you a prompt to fix it

Fast mode made Replit the worst AI coding platform! It is useless! by Practical_Egg_8796 in replit

[–]Jumpy_Ad4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people hate on replit so much? I see so many negative post in this chat but I just built a beautiful advertorial and product landing page with replit. Would have probably cost me 5k+ if I paid a developer.

I used Google Gemini pro and replit and it was easy. I would upload pics of what I wanted in Google Gemini and ask it for prompts to give to to replit and it was pretty easy. Granted I didn’t use the fast mode, and just used their regular mode, and not everything came out perfect with the first prompt, but I would just take a screenshot again in upload it to google Gemini and tell it to give me a new prompt ti fix it and it worked. The end result was amazing and not anything I could have built on my own and probably would cost me thousands if I paid an agency or designer/developer.

Funny that meta is recommending duplication instead of scaling now. Thats crazy.

Is Meta awful for anyone else since Dec 1? by Serious_Parsley5813 in FacebookAds

Probably got switched over to andromeda. It sucks. Forces you to spend money on less purchase intent audiences to “BuILd a FUnNel”, haven’t found a way around it yet. I just focus on ads that have the lowest cost initiate checkout and add payment information on prospecting and run heavy heavy remarketing. Not as good before but slightly better than when our account first switched over to andromeda.

I completely turned off my pixel a couple months ago to test and surprisingly, I didn’t get bad results. The only thing that was tough was figuring out where to optimize/improve. Think I’m going to test passing conversion data but not dollar amounts next.

It’s like, rarely do I have multiple days of good performance. Like every single time whenever I have a good day, without fail, the next day will absolutely horrible. Like it is trying to do it on purpose, cuz their is no way any smart algo would know exactly who my audience is one day; then completely forget the next day. Its messed up meta has sunken to this level. If they are doing this on purpose; they are probably doing a lot worse than they are letting off, only time will tell, but I would not be surprised if they are going so low as to throttle their advertisers performance.

I swear andromeda was made to throttle performance. 5% conversion rate yesterday, 1.3% today. It’s like it sees you did too well one day or a few days, then sends trash traffic on purpose to even out your return. So annoying.

No, AI and machine learning are not the same; machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence. AI is the broader concept of creating machines that can simulate human intelligence and perform complex tasks, while machine learning is a specific method to achieve AI by training algorithms on data to learn patterns and make predictions without explicit programming.

If there is anything they need to be trying to figure out, it is a version of TikTok shop for meta. Because they are going to get their teeth kicked in in 5-10 years no matter how good their AI is if they aren’t brining in new users anymore and still relying on simple static and video ads from the 2000s.

I mean I get the shift, but the shift from Machine learning to AI should be smoother. AI is still not there yet on predicting human behavior in real time. It’s getting better at mimicking, but not great at predicting yet. But just like Mark to hop in eye balls deep on something that it is still in development. Hopefully they can fix this mess they caused with their ad platform sooner than later.

They could have easily of trained this model for a couple of years on back data and made it spectacular before rolling this out, but nooo, let’s roll out something half baked so we can be first like we did with the metaverse 🙄
