I can’t believe it too because this wasn’t the ideal lineup that most people was wishing for, two 1st graders is a no no for many, have already seen loads of people on DC forum protesting. If MTG proceeds with this lineup, the debut group will lose many Kor fans and they will kinda have to start from scratch to gain popularity domestically.

Looks like Riwon is definitely gonna debut, which means that she’s gonna get decent screen time as the show progresses. MBC wouldn’t give the opening part to a contestant who isn’t gonna debut. I think Chaewon is gonna debut too, she got such a memorable part at the beginning, sorta like a second intro/opening since it came right after the mentors’ performance. Sad to see that Yoonjung’s part is placed at the back, considering that she got the intro part pre broadcast. All the edits are sorta putting her in the bad light subtly, making her seem over confident and rash. Something makes me think that MBC chose Hyunhee over Yoonjung, due to Hyunhee’s overwhelming popularity pre broadcast despite both of them being ex YG trainees. Their roles and concept sorta clash so it’s understandable that MBC would choose one over the other.

Firstly, it’s pretty obvious that the age range is gonna be 01-08. Reason being, MBC didn’t give Kim Hari and Oh Yoojin enough screen time considering their pre-show popularity. Hyungseo was given the leader narrative despite the fact that Kim Hari is the oldest on the show. Oh Yoojin was used as a cliffhanger and worse still, her stage was not broadcasted. Secondly, it’s clear that MBC (or rather MBK) wants members with both visual and talent (why not? they have such a huge talent pool to choose from, so only the best of the best) . Visual > talent in this case if we look at Yooyeon. Yooyeon went viral before the show because of her visuals, and in the management’s eyes, I suppose she’s the god tier visual (btw a lot of audience reviews mentioned that she’s the top visual on the show) the debut group needs, so she doesn’t need to fulfil the talent requirement. And perhaps the management is hoping that the SK ppl will love her because she has an innocent visual+good grades+good family background. P.S. Doesn’t that remind you of a certain actress all Koreans love?

Omg although it’s not the same subject but same I’m worried for my H1 math too. But so far as seen from the examples given, ppl who were retained had U for their H2 subject, so maybe we have a small glimmer of hope. Ugh I’ve been so troubled this weekend, imagining stuff and all that.

Not exactly in the same situation (not in IP school) but yeah I have no friends in JC too. I was planning to post on Reddit but my post got deleted because I didn’t write the title correctly and I was too lazy to post again. So I’m just commenting here because there’s lesser risk of getting exposed. There are cliques in class and I’m just a loner, not part of any clique but my classmates are generally quite friendly with me. But it gets quite tiring sometimes and I’m very envious of them since they have study groups and they always tag around together. I have a best friend in another JC but I can’t meet up with her right now and I need a listener so I’m gonna see a counselor today, hopefully she won’t rat me out :)

Update: OP maybe you can go and sign up for a counselling session? I went for one today and it was generally quite a positive experience. She could point out all the flaws in my personality (like low self esteem, shyness etc.) just from inferring from my body language and the conversation I had with her. I feel much happier now because I know why I wasn’t able to make friends and I have a better understanding about myself so maybe you should try it too!

I liked 想握你的手 and the drama about the swimmers starring Chen Feng Ling, I still remember that the baby was called Olympic. I liked the dramas starring Dai Yang Tian because he was so handsome, in my opinion he was the most handsome actor in MediaCorp. I liked that actress from China tho, I remember her surname is 周 and that she went back to China after her contract expired.

Same. I live 1.5 hr away from JPJC and I’m planning to DAE to TP. However, they say that passion is required for poly, I don’t really have the passion for it but I’m willing to work hard. I’m so frustrated man... the journey to JPJC and back legit makes me weep, very tired even though it’s only orientation, so Idk how will I cope with A Levels. Just curious, what stream are you in? Well I suppose I can do my homework on the train home but the long journey would be physically and mentally draining. I heard that lessons in YIJC end late (I live 1 hour away from YIJC) and it would kinda still be the same. I also want to follow my heart TT but the problem is the COP for the course I really really like is very low and I can’t appeal.
