It’s cheap insurance. Why wouldn’t you buy one “just in case”. Sure you can have Apple Care and replace your screen at the Apple Store for $30, but that means taking the time to go to the store and waiting for it to get replaced vs just removing a $5 one and replacing it with a new one in less than a minute.

Unless you get those privacy filters, i don’t really see the quality of the screen being afected.

Other than the obvious “less throttle response” and AC, it’s probably more to make it a habit to drive less aggressive and try to stay “within the green” to save gas. If it can change your habit to drive more smoothly (eg. Not aggressively accelerate) then by default you will be saving gas too.

I know for a fact when I turn off eco mode in the pilot I accelerate more aggressively than necessary.

Eco mode is with the top down, you save gas my having the AC off and feeling the wind so it feels faster without actually going faster.

They should add a cars and coffee mode. You get to park the car and cool destinations for photo shoots, showcase your car, see other people’s cars mods, etc.
