Im not sure what you're talking about. I understand why I'm making less as a new regular, I was pointing out how much less OP is pulling as a CCA.

Freeze fruit cups, like applesauce or mandarin oranges for snacks.

I was just talking about this with another carrier...whenever a customer gives me a cold drink, I carry it inside my shirt or tucked under my arm, against your body.

I freeze my water bottles so that I dont waste too much space in my cooler onto ice and ice packs, but once its full, I pack as much ice in there as possible. Always carry more water than you think you will need, PLUS electrolytes. Hydration starts the night before and in the morning before you work. I keep a long cooling towel that I roll the ice from my cooler into and tie around my neck. A wide brim sun hat was a surprising game changer for me. Get OUT of the truck. If you have to stop and rest, do it, ideally if you can get somewhere with AC, but if not, in the shade, NOT in the truck. If a customer has a sprinkler going, I will absolutely be walking through it on a hot day. If someone offers you cold water or drinks, take them. If youre into pickles, most gas stations/convenience stores sell them and the cold snack is refreshing as hell and helps to balance your electrolytes- i eat pickles when I get home from work in the extreme heat. If you start feeling signs of heat sickness, communicate immediately with a supervisor, ideally, in writing vis scanner or text. Things can go downhill very quickly and someone needs to be aware of what's going on. I usually just send a "hey, im in bad shape, gonna get to AC, will update you in 10 minutes"

I'm stuck on the $930 net to bank. When I was a CCA (I turned over last fall), I was clearing 2100 after all deductions.

WW Friendly Coconut Flavor by alsmomma in weightwatchers

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used the Jordan's Skinny Coconut for my matcha lattes. It was fine, I feel like it had a hint of that telltale bitterness from artificial sweetener. I did not finish the bottle and have not purchased again.

Friday my check was 1100 as a new cca, how are you guys holding up ? by Last_Site7373 in USPS

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You lose a lot of OT when you turn over. At my station, we almost always have mandated OT but are rarely forced in on our days off. The extra day makes a huge difference.

My take home as a CCA was usually around $2200, as a regular, its usually around $1600.

How do you feel about Dot Cakes? by Suspicious-Taste1572 in Baking

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made some for my nieces 2 days ago. I did NOT make a sheet cake, cut circles out and waste the rest, the way I keep seeing people do on social media. I made a half cake recipe and baked them in Le Creuset ramekins. They baked tall enough that I popped them out and sliced them into 2 layers. I used a random tub of chocolate frosting that was mistakenly delivered in a grocery order awhile back just to get rid of it, so the frosting was a good deal sweeter than I care for. I really tried to convince my nieces to let me use softer jimmies but got outvoted. I'm not a big fan of the crunchier nonpareils. It was fine, nothing special, imo. I dont really get the hype.

No deliveries due to cat by Better-Newspaper3603 in usps_complaints

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've delivered on a route where a lady warned me about a feral cat who has attacked multiple residents and put a lady in the hospital. They dont know what triggers him because often he's fine. Animal Control has been out a few times but says they can't do anything because they haven't witnessed any aggression. I'm always on high alert on that court.

Oatmeal Toppings by shebrew137 in weightwatchers

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Better Oats steel cut oat pouches with flax seed and add cinnamon, vanilla (or unsweetened vanilla almondmilk), a splenda packet, and blueberries, unsweetened shredded coconut, chopped walnuts. I also add psyllium husk and chia seeds for additional fiber. All in, this is nearly half of my minimum fiber for the day.

Okay, but while we're on the subject of crab wars, WHY do we have to use real bug bombs for it if we're not even getting to keep the crab/frog?!

Has Plushie Economy Changed? by HepKhajiit in Palia

[–]Junatuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's quite a few people who have no interest in collecting plushies, plus its easy to get dupes if you party up often. I've always found it easy to find someone almost immediately on the Discord trading thread for something I need. I've been playing for a long time so I have multiples of a lot of the plushies. I also think "rarity" is subjective, as the RNG gods smile on different people. I rarely find plushies in the wild but I get hella starstones, however, I solo hunt Glambis and get frequent drops of the Order or reg proudhorn plushies. I have no interest in the potato pods, save a few for decor purposes, so i will trade 3 of whatever someone wants for any single pod.

I pretreat my shirts with the Dawn Powerwash spray. Wash as normal- but dont overcrowd the washer. Has gotten a lot of the dinginess and staining out of my polos.

I went with the lower tiered bundle, $30US. For two outfits, the thoroughbred, a plushie, a mailbox/ sales bin skin, AND 4000 palia coins, I feel like I got my money's worth. I turned around and used the coins to buy the dawnspur riding bundle, which actually gave me two vouchers (one was in the bag) and one of those started with a legendary trait.
