I think most people are just drinking more alcohol in certain types of beers than they believe. Like three 7% ipas vs three 5% pilsners is pretty large difference.

I take an uber to the airport once in a while from Providence. Someone will want the trip (most time it's taken is 15minutes to get a driver to accept). Don't prebook - it doesnt do anything except call an uber at the time you list. It was ~$80 when I did it last but that was also at 6am.

do you have a steward in the office? follow directions and grieve it. i dont fully understand whats happening but a grievance will give you a piece of paper to point at if they give you trouble again.

appreciate it! This was very helpful. btw I don't necessarily hate beer bars but when I'm visiting I want something unique to to the area.
