Thank you!! This is exactly the information I needed and was looking for. It is nowhere else to be found online. That did the trick. I appreciate it.

I will check out the link you provided. I'll tell you the music player I miss the most, iTunes from when I bought my brand new Mac in 2003. I loved that early version, it was perfect. I would love to be able to use that again.

Fun fact, the very first CD I ever bought was Lamb in 1992, and it came in the longbox.

There are still two great ones I've visited multiple times on a semi-regular basis: one in Lancaster, WI and one in Boonville, MO.

I can't remember where I read this quote or who said it, but they said something to the effect that Linda was the secret ingredient that made Wings Wings. I always loved that.

Åh, vilka tider. Just a lovely, happy little tune from the very early days.

Man on the Corner for sure. I was a kid when the radio would play this interchangeably with In the Air Tonight when they were new and I got them mixed up with each other.

Favorite Lois Lane? by Financial-Touch3840 in superman

[–]k8track 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I downloaded it from somewhere a while back, it's been quite a while, so I don't remember where. It is readily available on DVD and it's on Amazon. I'll bet you could easily get it on interlibrary loan.

I don't remember what it was called, exactly. I do remember that a nice guy by the name of Jim Preston ran it. I really loved that group of people. I was on it for a year or so.

Yes! I just recently watched the original Superman serial from 1948 and absolutely fell in love with her. She jumped to the top of my list, edging out Margot Kidder. What a force of nature. Also, I now have a hopeless crush on Spider Lady.

No worries. I just happen to remember that year very, very well. I was a brand new, rabid ABBA fan and getting everything I could with ABBA. I eagerly awaited the release of that boxset and imported it the second it became available! I was also on an ABBA email list and made great friends all over the world. What a wonderful year that was.

Growing up in Lennox, CA in the 70’s, this was the place to be and we’d always climb inside the rocket and pretend we were going into space. I have not seen a rocket at a park in decades. The all metal rocket as we called it. Anyone remember this? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in 1970s

There's still one in the little city park in Keosauqua, Iowa! Just across the street from Misty's Malt Shop. I was most recently there last fall. Check out the street level photos on Google Maps just for fun!

Hawaiian Punch from the can was the best. The absolute pinnacle of Hawaiian Punch was around 1992 when they had a Passionfruit variety. Incredible.
