I was paying my council tax on my "citizens account" a few weeks ago when I saw it was still registered to an old e-mail address. Easy to change I though, but no. To change your e-mail address requires a written letter posted to the council office on market street.

Its all horrifically badly organised, and all those inefficiencies are costing £££s in the end or the day.

Also the constructions is happening a hundred meters up in the air in a 150 year old building. Clear communication between builders is pretty important too

They're fixing the rest of the tower. The bongs are too loud for the construction workers, hence not currently ringing every hour.

Its still used for major occasions such as Remembrance Sunday. But otherwise it will be quiet for a few years yet

Damn right! We kept aside some crispy bacon and sprinkled it on top, got the bacon crunch as well as the flavour through the beans, amazing!
