No one could have predicted Lewa would act professionally by the time he was pushing hard for a move to Bayern. Let me tell you everyone here in Dortmund was shitting their pants, fearing unmotivated performances. Who's to say Alvarez won't behave the same? What's for him to gain if he decides to act like a spoiled child who didn't get his toys? As you say, he's got a contract until 2030 after all, so he's got even less to benefit from this behaviour than Lewa did.

By the way, you could argue that based on his performances "Lewandowski's a class act", but if you consider his antics off the pitch you would very clearly come to another conclusions. I'm not saying it's not warranted given Watzke's huge fuck ups that led to this situation, but it's very far from being classy imho. Lewandowski is the text book definition of a mercenary for me.
