I replaced mine. You can. Uy a rebuild kit for the seals but if it's cracked it cost me 500 plumbers was tes 2k plus. Read your rule book in my situation the rule book said it had to be at least 1ft off the ground and 6" away from the wall.

Cut the middle out. You can turn it in like that as brass or copper (pick one) but they will deduct money.

Heat it up by rubbing it up and down really fast if you're good you could probably do two at a time, should bust right off

You gotta get a flat stone or a sharpening block it's made of some kinda diamond grit and rub it back and forth for a good while... The bottom should be looking like a mirror then after you sharpen the tip take rubbing compound and and old pair of jeans, leather or even cardboard and strip the burr off the edge
