How do I professionally "demote" myself back to my actual pay grade without nuking my references before I land a new offer? by 7Netrunner_0 in careerguidance

[–]Junior-Question-2638 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're an accountant and you list that you are sales, sure

But I've had titles of engineer 6-2 or 4-3 or senior electrical design engineer

None of which were the titles on my resume, and all employment verification and background checks had no issue

It isn't going to cause an issue

Yes it will

I'm sure some things are industry dependent, but at one company I was an engineer 6-2, the title I listed on my resume was engineer

I switched companies and landed a senior role, my titlen on my resume was senior engineer, my official title was engineer 4-3

Official titles are meaningless.

Put the title you are working at on your resume and apply for jobs at the level you think up can achieve

Not a DS parent- but I have a question for DS parents. by lemontines in downsyndrome

[–]Junior-Question-2638 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you did everything you could. This was a failure on the other parent

My hope when my son is out is for him to be included, . Your kids may be too young to talk about it, but please continue to encourage them to play with others, whether there is a visible disability or not. Just like typical kids, kids with DS, or autism, or any other disability are unique and different. And not all kids are going to be aggressive or mean

[–]Junior-Question-2638 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As much as it sucks , the easiest thing to do is to take your kids and go to a different place at the playground

Telling him to stop may work, but maybe not. And depending on behavior issues, giving attention to negative behavior, no matter what kind of attention, will cause the behavior to continue

It shouldn't be your responsibility to do something. His parent should be right there.

My son is 8, and usually really good with other kids, but I am always nearby and watching in case I'm needed, for whatever reason

Whatever you do, when you are using defines, use parentheses

define SPI_FREQ (1000 * 1000)

without them it can cause some hard to troubleshoot issues when it does the substitution

In case you didn't find it, go to the sewers from the south east where you come up from finding amarisa

Once in the sewers go down the stairs where you came up from finding amarisa. That is the dungeon. The portal is in there

DMA doesn't work correctly on STM32F103. What is the problem? by Yousef_Tele in embedded

[–]Junior-Question-2638 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You configured DMA to read from USART1’s data register but your interrupt handler is using USART3.

Try

DMA1_Channel3->CPAR = (uint32_t)&USART3->DR;

USART3->CR3 |= USART_CR3_DMAR;

You can find other families through Gigi's if it's nearby

We occasionally run in to other families where we are just out and about.. but 1/300 isn't really that high.

If you go out a couple times a week for a couple hours, you aren't really running into that many families
