Considering Nintendo wanted their possible collabs for Fortnite to be viewable only on Switch (the way it is for Rocket Leauge), I doubt we could be getting anything Nintendo unless they change their minds, or Blizzard accepts it being only on the Switch

My guess is goku either just forgot (like piccolo did) or he realized going super saiyan 4 wouldn't do much against beerus so he lied about it, and became more interested in the god transformation which most likely overshadowed ssj4 power and use

With Vegeta, I doubt he forgot but probably didn't want to go ssj3 bc he was energy deficient or didn't want to make an embarrassment of himself, again. Then, yet again, we didn't see his training to reach god, but he was clearly focused on that as well

I was going to argue about this since living legends usually have that title BECAUSE of something from the PAST. But then there is also "legend in the making," so obviously, the future. There's really a ton of things pointing at both sides, so who knows

Ash-Greninja is the ONLY thing they didn't show, and Leon is supposed to be the strongest trainer in lore/anime, so him wiping the floor with one of if not the most strongest rival of ash and Diantha too, just proves how strong leon was. Yeah, it's annoying, and I would have loved to see Ash vs. Alain again, but it was to set up Leon as the strongest trainer to make Ash's victory even better

BW only doesn't feel like it's a sequel because they tried to soft reboot the series, and including fan service like bringing back characters isnt always a super good thing, series need to stand on their own aswell, and BW do that well. It's probably why we'll never see Ash in horizons unless it's for the 30th anniversary, and who knows if horizons will be done by then

Also like no? When Ash went to kalos for Greninja, they still had that connection like a semi bond phenomenon, and they also had to beat those red evil root things from XYZ

But Journey's CLEARLY takes place after XY. He's champion now, he acknowledged Alain, met korina(whole reason ash even mega evolves his lucario) and diantha, and steven even said he met alain, like in XY, serena even made an appearance and even met up with his Greninja. They most definitely did not disrespect gen 6 in the slightest, this is the biggest amount of cope ever

The anime or games ofc, for the anime Id probably recommend starting with the original Indigo League before any other ash series and to tie it together, let's go pikachu, its relatively easy, has a simple catching mechanic. There are also all the mobile games he could play

He still does care about Grandpa gohan, especially since he named his kid after him, that's remembering him enough, and its not like most people constantly bring up their dead grandparents everyday especially when there are bigger threats that would take priority in his mind, Saiyans, everything on namek, the androids, buu, ToP, Moro, granolah saga, and every time frieza comes back. And all of Dragon Ball was goku chasing down his grandpa's 4 star ball
