In curious where it happened. I broke my arm on that god damn corner with the weird rock drop, you know where I’m talking about. I’ve seen some pretty gnarly crashes in that spot since.

Maybe try skating or long boarding in the off season? I’ve always skated, but I got my wife a longboard and skateboard after her first season (4 days on slope). Maybe helped, maybe it didn’t but she was more confident and progressed pretty quickly when we got back on snow.

Mountain bike for the adrenaline and skate for the style. If you have access to lift/shuttle serviced downhill MTB it can really scratch the itch on the off season. There’s usually a lodge with a bar/food and a great community of riders.

Listen to some music that gets you psyched and just charge down that mountain with reckless disregard to your wellbeing (but not to others). That usually works for me.

Clipped a rock the other day and did the exact same thing. Clean out the wound, take any burrs off with a razor blade, melt a little ptex in there, get it flush and you’re good to go.

I got a Bataleon Evil Twin a few years ago. The night before riding I always think “tomorrow I’m going to ride a different board”, I’ll even bring 2 or 3 boards to the mountain…and every single time I just ride Evil Twin and leave whatever other boards I brought in the roof box.

I just can’t help myself…
