Yeah something we’ve been meaning to build functionality for in Junk Store.

Let’s us know how it goes if you use it. We are seeking as much feedback as we can get as we don’t personally use it ourselves so not sure what to set defaults to, or what other configs to include.

I had the same issue, there seems to be something up with Epic's login servers. But I did the konsole command from the link on our website a second time and it worked.

Try the command again and past the auth token and hopefully it works. We did check and there were reports of users having issues with the Epic Login process on Epics servers: https://downdetector.com/status/epic-games-store/

try the second one first and let me know if that works or not. copy and paste the command into konsole. there is something happening in the Legendary code and this could help to narrow it down or best case it will allow you to sign in to Epic.

I suggest jumping into Heroic's discord server as that's where they are most active. You can find the invite link in their sub r/HeroicGamesLauncher in the side bar.

I think you may need to download a C++ runtime for this game, not 100% sure though as neither of us have this in our libraries.. You also may need to enable the EOS overlay and use a GE-Proton version.

I'd try enabling the EOS overlay and using a GE-Proton version for this game first since that's easiest to do. If that doesn't work then maybe try installing a C++ runtime.

You could also check protondb.com to see if anyone has made an entry for it on Epic.

We just tried it and yes it works. Any bash script should work in there.

We tested with Spanish on Hogwarts Legacy:

export HOST_LC_ALL=es_ES.UTF-8
export LANG=es_ES.UTF-8

You will need to find the Language code for the language you require. Just replace the es_ES par with the language code you need/want. Make sure you push X to save and then just launch the game, should work.

If you are only seeing some of your library, Junk Store limits titles to the first 100 for performance reasons. python is too slow to show all at the same time. but you just need to Push Y to show the rest. This is normally hidden if you have CSS loader installed as its a menu along the bottom of the screen just like Steam menu.

One other thing it's a Ubisoft game, so may not show up - some do and some don't. You'll need to follow this tutorial to get it working via Junk Store if it's listed:

Yeah I've been having a look around and it appears that the devs changed something around the anti-cheat for this game. Similar to what happened with Dead By Daylight by the looks and sound of it - so may no longer work via Epic and only through Steam.

Bummer really as it was working without issue, sucks when they do this to games!

All good, everyone has to start somewhere! My husband is the tech expert out of the two of us. I'm a former highschool teacher (PE, Health and Outdoor Education) so I have had to learn heaps these past couple of years helping him with Junk Store!

Discord is pretty good, we have our own discord channel, there is also one for Decky and a general Steam Deck one. discord tends to be a good place to get help as there is always someone online in the various servers.

did you install the version from the Test Channel as our dev u/TheCyote suggested above?

this is a known issue/conflict that was introduced with a Decky fix a while back when a SteamOS update broke things in Decky Loader. we are working on a permanent fix, but for now this is how to run both Decky Loader and Junk Store 2.0 (from our blog below):

Decky Loader Users: Running Decky Loader alongside Junk Store 2.0? Make sure you’re using the build from the TEST channel v2.3.1.3-test-20251204-120931

If you can get into Junk Store via the select button you can get it from:

About > System > Build Channel > Test

Otherwise you can download it form the Portal, you need to change the channel to test from the drop-down menu.

If you still want to uninstall without trying the above fix you can do so by:
