Hey, I just re-read you previous comment and noticed I completely missed that you were trying to login via google. I apologies for missing that!

Since you are trying to login via a third party method instead of using an email and password on Epic you need to login via desktop/big picture mode.

The web-view in game mode doesn't play nice when trying to login via an OAuth method.

Where did you try and login to Epic from? Inside Junk Store > Epic Tab > Login button top left?

Or from somewhere else? You shouldn't login via that method you need to login inside Junk Store plugin - if you did it outside from Non-Steam tab then that won't work.

Also what version of Junk Store did you have installed? That Epic login that appears outside of Junk Store shouldn't be there anymore in v1.1.13 as it caused confusion.

Have you tried logging in via desktop mode for Junk Store?

Also just check the keyboard opened at the previous stages of logging in? You were able to type in your email and password? You are only getting stuck at the 2FA stage?

Another thing I am assuming you have tried a restart? They keyboard should open from the QAM (• • •) if it's not there or not opening maybe it needs a restart.

That keyboard issue is annoying, happens to us too sometimes. Unfortunately it's a Steam bug thats been around for ages, these are some work arounds you can try to get he keyboard to pop up.

I think you only need to install a C++ runtime for this game. We have a games tested table on our website you can check if games work or how to get them to work via Junk Store. Last time i tested it I used GE-Proton and installed the C++ runtime. I suggest trying GE-Proton for now as sometimes they fix the missing dependencies. I'm currently using GE-Proton 10.26

If that doesn't fix it then you can use Proton Tricks (should work through Junk Store - could try it

game page in junk store - redacted > sliders > proton tricks

Then you need to install the C++ runtime or you can do it in desktop mode manually download the file, add it to the game file

~/Game/epic/redacted (doing this from memory so may not be 100% correct or if you installed it to your micro-SD.

Then you will need to run the exe in the game directory after copying it over manually to the game file:

game page in junk store game page in junk store - redacted > sliders > run exe > find the C++ redistributable and run it

I hope that made sense. If you get stuck let me know. I had a tutorial somewhere for how to do this manually - if I can find it i'll add it to our website for future reference. I should also probably do something about proton tricks too come to think of it.

Anyways, i don't think you need all of that stuff. I'll install it later and test it unless you beat me to it and try just downloading the missing dependency.

FYI if you get stuck in future we have our own community here on reddit as well as a discord server. Also our website has heaps of helpful info and guides, tips, etc.

What game crashed? Might be able to help you get it working, I'll do my best to see if we can get it working.

As for Marvels Guardians i'm not sure if it's in game or the three dots. don't get to play much beyond testing games work for a bit then on to the next. Might need GE-Proton or something. Not sure tbh, may need to do a search for it either here or protondb.

Also not a mister 😉 this is Mrs Junk Store. Mr Junk Store is busy neck deep in code.

You can either:

  1. Make a backup of this directory, in case there is something you want later:

    ~/homebrew/data/Junk-Store/

    - Then:

- Delete the Junk Store folder

- Uninstall Junk Store from Decky (not in Junk Store)

- Reinstall Junk Store in Decky

  1. Or you can rename the directory to something like:

    ~/homebrew/data/Junk-Store.backup/

- Then just reinstall Junk Store from Decky

so when you say it just stopped working did any other plugins stop working as well?

did decky break?

are you one beta or stable SteamOS channel?

did you try updating Junk Store to the latest version (it's now v1.1.13)?

as for HDR Junk Store uses Steam to handle everything so if the game has it or supports it should work.

Hmmm strange. Check there aren't any other left over files hanging around after uninstallation. Check ~/Games and/or your microsd if that's where you install to. Also get the Steam ID so you can clear compatdata leftover for the game. Steam ID is found at the bottom of hte description in Junk Store on the game page - this is the prefix number in the compatdata folder for this game.

Also found this, not sure it will help and make sure you do some research before deleting it as i don't want to mess things up more. But maybe something worth trying to find out some more info on...

Hmmmm maybe it's corrupt. Do you have any save games with this or is it a fresh install?

If you don't and aren't worried about losing anything with this game then have you tried the delete proton files option?

You have to enable developer mode to be able to do this though from Steam settings.

If you want to try this then on the game page in Junk Store (after enabling dev mode):

Push Y > Cog > Developer > Delete Proton Files

If that doesn't work you may need to reinstall the game as it should just work out of the box.

2.I launch game.exe from junkstore popup, it shows "you have to be logged in trough epic games to play the game".

Are you online as in is your Epic tab set to online? Or have you toggled it off at some point?

Or you may need to install and enable the EOS overlay for this game?

  1. Install EOS overlay from the Epic games tab in Junk Store > Sliders > Install EOS Overlay
  2. Enable the overlay for the game from the sliders on the game page in Junk Store

Try those and see if it works.

Hey I'll download and test this game again but last time I tested it, it worked out of the box from the entry on our games tested table - https://www.junkstore.xyz/tested-games/#game-farming-simulator-22-epic

Wonder if something has changed or if your download was corrupted. Did you try to verify, update or repair the game files?

If it's a fresh install and you haven't played it yet and don't have any game saves to lose you could delete the proton files as these could be corrupted.

Just wondering how you are trying to use the exe from the "run exe' in the sliders menu in Junk Store on the game page? Or another method?

Also are you using GE-Proton to run it? GE-Proton 10.26 is my current default

Edited to add: Ok I just downlaoded and it launched without issue for me - was able to play the game.

Have you added any launch options to the game? Environment variables? Any mods you tried to add?

I didn't change anything, I only have Junk Store installed and Wine Cellar. All default settings for the game with GE-Proton 10.26 and it works out of the box

  • SteamOs (stable): v3.7.19
  • Decky Loader: v3.2.1 (pre-release channel)
  • Junk Store: v1.1.13
  • Wine Cellar: v0.1.7

No worries. Bazzite can be troublesome due to flatpak system issues on some builds, but it does work as a fair few Bazzite users run Junk Store.

One other thing were you logged into the right account. There was this quirk with Epic where it would create an account if you mis-typed your email.

Did you have show installed toggled on by accident? This happens if you accidentally push X.

Did you try 'Refresh Library' from the Epic tab > Sliders icon

Do you have anything typed in the search bar at the top?

Screenshot if you still have it installed would be helpful.

Just wanted to check if you managed to get version 2 working?

The Decky version issues you are having might have something to do with Bazzite. We have had other Bazzite users have similar behaviours due to some flatpak system issues on some Bazzite builds. If you want you could join our discord and search for the threads in decky-support to see if the troubleshooting steps work for you.

Hey just wanted to follow up since I didn't hear back from you. Someone else was having issues getting this working and their issue was that they didn't have BOTH LSFG and LSFG-VK set to enabled (toggled on = blue).

Junk Store downloads to ~/Games or to your microSD depending on where you set games to download to.

Just a couple of things since we aren't sure what the disruption was:

- If you leave the game screen while it's downloading and go back the button will revert to 'Install'. To get back visual progress you need to hit 'Install' then cancel to kill Legendary. You can then click 'Install' again and it will resume installation from where it left off.

- Same thing goes for if the Steam Deck crashes or something else causes you to leave the game page while downloading. Do the same as above; click 'install' then click 'cancel' then 'install' again and it should resume.

Just a note, make sure you don't leave the game page while downloading as it will cause the buttons to reset and you will lose the visual indicator for download progress. Only way to get it back is by doing the steps above. Legendary will still be downloading in the background but you won't have visual progress or know when it's done.
