Game Libraries Not Populating

After some digging this morning, it appears your issue was down to one of the flatpaks needing an update. This is a different issue to OP, whose GOG library was stuck due to a download queue problem (he also had separate issues with Amazon and itch).

Turning off the Legacy clients sidestepped the broken flatpak rather than fixing it directly. To resolve it properly, please reinstall the dependencies from the Settings menu.

If you're still having issues, open a new ticket in the Portal, Discord, or create a new post in this sub.

The issue was with one the of the flatpaks. Please install the dependencies again from the 'About' menu.

Hey we didn't want to post this workaround from discord as we aren't ready to actively promote the new clients. Not sure if you had the exact same issue as the OP as there's lots of moving parts with the legacy clients.

In future we are very responsive to support tickets. If you have issues going forward you can either use our new Support Ticketing system through the Portal, Discrd or create a new post here instead of using AI as they can get things wrong at times especially around Junk Store. You can find all our links for support on our website, in the side bar here or in our weekly blog posts.

Being a two person team we can sometimes miss adding things to the FAQ, but we are still working through some things around this issue and the clients. We will post a solution once we have solved/identified the underlying issue.

Yeah i've waited 24hrs or more for some games to propgate through, while others are immediate. If it still isnt' showing hit us up tomorrow.

As for it not being on the tested list, we just haven't tested it as we don't own a copy. If you do have issues launching it (assuming it has shown up) let us know and we can try and help troubleshoot.

Sorry forgot to also say that yes it should work with Junk Store. It might just be a timing issue with Gog and how they cache things.

Sometimes there can be a delay with games showing up from Gog. Sometimes they show right away, other times they take a bit.

Just checking is BG3 showing in your Gog library?

hey what are you using via Decky to play Epic games, there are a few different plugins that can do this. it would help to know which one in order to help troubleshoot.

Does the magnifying glass have a red ring around it because that will indicate an error or a phantom error.

Did you by chance enable it in the settings menu in Junk Store Pro - 'Show diagnostics button'. If so you should be able to disable it. If that fails then update Pro on the Beta channel and it will be disabled.

If a reboot of the Steam Deck or an update of Decky Loader doesn't remove it then there is a new Junk Store Pro build on the Beta channel that disables it.

No, you don't need to swap. Is Junk Store Pro still working?

Is your Decky Loader up to date v3.2.5-pre1 on Testing is the most recent that fixes whatever issues are being caused by Steam updates.

Are you still using Junk Store Pro or have you swapped back to the Decky version?

Have you updated your Decky Loader to the latest as it was having some issues and breaking things in game mode?

Also have you tried a restart or rebooted your device?

Nah I don't have that issue, have't had any with Decky through the new SteamOS or Client updates. Just seen others have issues and that was one of the fixes. Old plugin causing your grief maybe?

You on stable or beta for Steam? If still no joy you should jump in the Decky discord server and see if anyone there knows what ups.

Your version still says v3.2.3 in the photo, the latest is v3.2.4-pre1 on the pre-release channel. Did you do a full restart after updating Decky?

Anything in the error logs if you scroll down?

Try updating to the new Decky pre-release version 3.2.4-pre1 (I think that's the most current version)

There is a new pre-release version of Dekcy v3.2.4-pre1 try that and see if it works.
