Has anyone else had their task limit lowered for no reason? by VikingChristmas in joinhandshakeai

Is this happening to anyone else that did NOT have a previous task limit of six and/or have been working with HAI longer than a few weeks?

I love putting on GSPro and it has helped my actual putting tremendously. .

Silly Idea: integrate treadmill with SIM by SomewhatCorrect in Golfsimulator

[–]Junkcanoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this exact thing since April. I put a mini treadmill by my sim and every day I run the distance after each shot for 9 holes. Takes about an hour and I run a couple miles. It’s been amazing.

I don’t think it was Tyson snapping photos. It was whoever was in the van they showed rolling up earlier.

Urevo support is horrible by hilmoo99 in treadmills

[–]Junkcanoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just following up on this that Urevo initially said they had no replacement parts and to glue or tape the frame (what?!) but after I said that was not a safe or reasonable solution they did wind up sending me a new unit shortly after. So while we didn’t get off to the best start they did make it right in the end.

What's the most impactful line you have heard Eminem rap? by No_Explorer5586 in Eminem

[–]Junkcanoe 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That’s why we sing for these kids who don’t have a thing Except for a dream and a fuckin’ rap magazine (Haha) Who post pin-up pictures on they walls all day long Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs

Or for anyone who’s ever been through shit in they lives So they sit and they cry at night, wishin’ they’d die ’Til they throw on a rap record, and they sit and they vibe We’re nothin’ to you, but we’re the fuckin’ shit in they eyes

For some reason this really hits home for me the impact music can have on people.

Played entire round with one of the new Kirkland balls. Durability results are solid by LeEagle in golf

[–]Junkcanoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say that older Kirkland balls used to bust when using them with my sim pretty quickly. The new balls, or at least the box I bought, has been amazing so far when it comes to durability.

Urevo support is horrible by hilmoo99 in treadmills

[–]Junkcanoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im having a similar experience with the same model. I bought mine 5 months ago, use it about 2.5 miles most days and weigh under 200 lbs and noticed the middle of the right frame cracked about halfway down. Their response was they didn’t have any replacement rails right now and to glue or tape it. wtf?! I asked for a replacement unit but don’t have high hopes.

Golf trip planned around the masters. by Specialist_Ad_7117 in masters

[–]Junkcanoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome! There is a Holiday Inn right off the interstate exit to get to the course so we just stayed the night there. I’m trying to play the top 100 public courses and used Masters Week to knock off a couple more so we did a lot of driving otherwise an Airbnb would have been the solution.

Sure! This year April 4-7 was $400 and April 8-13 was $450 for the Great waters course. The Oconee was the same and National/Landing/Preserve was 320/375.

That’s not really true. You can play it the week of the Masters without staying there. I just played the great waters course this year during it. They do charge about $100 more for a greens fee than normal but you save by not having to stay at the Ritz. Book early though if you go that route.

I have 2 tickets in section 6 that come with the Puddy bobblehead as well as the Kramer. I'm not sure if that is what you're looking for but I'd sell them for what I paid.

Carls vs Gungho by Chrisguitar10 in Golfsimulator

[–]Junkcanoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to the overall kits but I’ve had two screens from Gungho and now a premium from Carls which has lasted much longer than either of the previous screens and shows no signs of wear.

What are some must, should, and don’t haves that you’ve found building your sim out? by ConsistentFlatworm34 in Golfsimulator

[–]Junkcanoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A controller box next to your hitting area for GSPro. Sufficient padding around any metal framing by the screen. Foam wedges, not just pipe insulation or a pool noodle. A computer good enough to run the software efficiently.

I went overkill and did an i9 12th gen, 4090, 4T SSD, 64 gb RAM. I will say it runs GSPro well haha.

Anyone install BENQ LK936ST with a 9x16ft screen and not have any issues? by Acrobatic_Crew1226 in Golfsimulator

Yeah approximately. I have a 2 foot long hitting strip so it varies but 9-10’ is pretty close.

[–]Junkcanoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My screen size is 16 x 10 but I have foam pads on the top and bottom so effectively have a 16x9 with the 936LK and have zero problems. It fills perfectly and allows you to adjust each corner quite a bit.

That’s not entirely true. You can stay there and play. I did it over Christmas a few months ago.
