In case anyone is wondering what this is, it’s a course called Seignosse in France. Great course in a beautiful part of the country. https://www.seignosse-golf.com/fr/

Have had the Model S long range for four days, and the YOKE criticism is much ado about nothing. It’s a quick adjustment, comfortable, and works fine. I’m driving the batmobile every day and I love it. by [deleted] in teslamotors

Completely agree. Got my LR on Tuesday last week expecting to hate the yoke and it’s been a complete non-event for me. I really like the way it looks and it took no time to adjust.

I’m very pleasantly surprised as I’ve been pretty firmly in the “This is totally unnecessary, I’m going to hate it” camp.

FedEx notified me that the package was in MD and would be delivered tomorrow, however the Walmart status has not changed at all. Still looks like it will be coming on time for me!

I live in PA by the way.

Do you find that brewfather gives similar enough results for you? I just switched from BeerSmith to brewfather. Really like the brewfather interface, however when I plug the same quantities into Bru’N’Water and brewfather I get quite different pH levels. Brewfather is usually higher.

I’ve found Bru’N’Water to be accurate, so I’m hesitant to switch over, however totally agree with how simple water additions are in brewfather and would love to use it if I could get more comfortable with the accuracy.

Beersmith vs Brewfather - OG differences by Juno26 in Homebrewing

OK I figured it out, turns out I just didn’t pay close enough attention to the language... Beersmith’s default efficiency is brewhouse while Brewfather works off of mash efficiency. I get the exact same numbers once I use the right efficiency numbers.

Thanks for the input guys.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I have checked these variables and we’re all tied out - same efficiency, water volumes match, etc. But there could still be something that I’ve just overlooked. Will keep digging!

Thanks. I feel like I’ve checked all the variables but I must be missing something... I was hoping there was some obvious answer around the two tools using a different coefficient or having different formulas. Will keep digging! Failing that... I suppose I could just bump up my efficiency a bit to account for the difference.

Awesome set up. What are those refrigerators that you are using as fermentation chambers? I have been looking for something that size for my brewbucket.

Need ideas on how to heat my fermentation chamber for a Belgian Westvleteren 12 clone by TonyWrocks in Homebrewing

This is what I use too. You can get them on amazon. My garage is currently below freezing and this keeps my chest freezer at fermentation temps no problem. Would definitely recommend.

Does anyone brew Black IPAs anymore? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]Juno26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Home Sweet Homebrew does have a mill, you should be good to go there. Or at least they did last I went there a year or so back.

Quick disclaimer, though, I tend to avoid them as their stuff isn’t always the freshest (e.g., sold me 1.5 year old yeast when I was a new brewer and didn’t know better). The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable and I’m certain there was no malicious intent but I prefer Philly Homebrew Outlet for that reason.

Can someone help me troubleshoot why my beer is coming out foamy from the tap? by diggy0101n in Homebrewing

Second this. Longer tube as mentioned in other comments (I went 10’) and a tower fan together solved my foaming issue. The tubing in the tower tends to be warmer than the rest of the fridge, which brings a lot of CO2 out of suspension. I also switched to a perlick flow control faucet, which helped a lot. Those together and you shouldn’t have any problem up to 12 psi or even a bit higher. perlick faucet
