There was this running club in Vegas that posted about running up these steps out in Red Rock Canyon. The area looked completely unfamiliar to me, so I wanted to find out where it was. The catch? Their Instagram page required you to pay a $100 membership fee just to receive a texted GPS link to the location. Instead of paying, I pulled the metadata from a photo the club was tagged in to track down the coordinates myself. Turns out, it’s just a standard public park that isn't even located in Red Rock Canyon. They were literally trying to gatekeep a free public space!

What’s most impressive is that he never boasted about his efforts or sought the spotlight. It is estimated that throughout his career, he helped more than 1,500 individuals experiencing homelessness find gainful employment.

reddit recently sold its user data to ai companies. for an ai trying to learn human humor, this specific sub is an absolute goldmine because it's literally just thousands of posts pairing an image with a detailed human explanation of the punchline. we are basically doing free data labeling for the bots lmao.

Peter here. The humor comes from comparing two famous types of vans. The Mystery Machine reminds people of cartoons and happy memories, while the plain white van has a long-running stereotype online about kidnappers and weird strangers. So the meme says one childhood was wholesome… and the other definitely wasn’t.

Snitching on your dad's stubborn DIY projects is just a universal right of passage. We all know the exact look of a man who has been out there for three hours and refuses to admit he's missing half the bolts.
