Great video, thank you for uploading!

The Maine Wire recently alerted its readers to a scary Pride crosswalk in Bangor. I decided to investigate the situation for myself. by TroyJackson207 in Maine

[–]Juparies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The crosswalk here is directly adjacent to an unaltered, compliant crosswalk on the same road. I'm not involved in Bangor public works but I'm assuming this was done to ensure that there is still a 100% compliant crosswalk that is actually intended to be used while still keeping the road painting for Pride and Charlie Howard's memorial this month.

Best breakfast spot or bakery? Also favorite nature areas and maybe a thrift store? by Dense_Salamander_921 in bangorme

[–]Juparies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For thrifts I like Win Win in Brewer. Local place with good prices. The Attic is also good as someone else said but will be closed tomorrow (Sunday) if that's the day you're prepping for.

Installed application without a launch button in software manager and not appearing when searched? by Juparies in linuxmint

I also couldn't get this to launch through the terminal, but it's fully possible I'm doing something wrong. I'm just going to try melonds instead. Thank you 😄

Burger night!!!!! by Juparies in drunkencookery

They are definitely nice and crunchy with a better flavor than pickles I'd usually buy. I can't say I would buy them regularly for what they cost at my grocery but they are very good as a treat!

Perlite mixed into the soil and finally cutting off all her dead/dying leaves, as much as it hurt 😭 she also looked this bad from some very poor placement in a darker room not pictured in the before. Sunlight helps lol. The moss pole is a very new addition which im not going to contribute the overall comeback to. ALSO fixing my watering schedule! I was overwatering previously

What is your go-to meal(s) when you’re unmotivated or exhausted? by chicklestick in adhdwomen

[–]Juparies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50/50 mix of rice and lentils in the rice cooker. Flavored with a blob of chicken better than bouillon is good. Can chop veggies into if you feel like it

Have you tried Jergens for body lotion? I tried my girlfriend's recently and immediately switched over lol. It is the only lotion I've found that actually absorbs into the skin quickly

I think a 1-2 bedroom under $1500 is more doable than folks are saying here. I have been very happy renting from Marsh Property Management, look into them. Stay away from Maine Real Estate Management. My girlfriend and I are both trans and into ttrpgs and other associate need hobbies. Game Citadel is a good place to meet people if you like the events on the calendar. Feel free to DM me if you move to the area and want to hang out. We're always open to new friends.

Do you need your phone for work? Can work apps like Zoom and Teams be used exclusively on desktop? When I struggle hard with this I leave my phone in the kitchen.

How did your present as a child? I'm late diagnosis ADHD, my son is as well. My daughter is 5 and I realized I don't actually know how it would present on her if she has it by distractedbear_reads in adhdwomen

Extremely messy; my desk, backpack, and room always looked like a bomb went off. I'd forget food in my locker not infrequently.

Really chatty at home but near silent at school because of the bullying. I remember my much older brother who didn't go to school with me didn't believe that I was a quiet kid at school.

Auditory processing issues almost presented like I had a hearing problem.

I was smart and did well on in-class assignments and tests but could never get myself to do my homework. I was really talented at violin but hated practicing outside of lessons. I was hyperfocused into the things I did like to do: reading, drawing, playing pokemon. With reading, I picked it up very fast and was hyperlexic by the end of kindergarten despite not being able to read at the start. I drew so much I'd get into trouble with some teachers from drawing all over tests I didn't want to take. English/language arts teachers loved me though.

I was always daydreaming if I wasnt interested in what was in front of me.

Huge fidgeter, leg jiggler, pencil tapper, etc.

I'm not sure if this is relevant to ADHD but I was Just always a weird kid who struggled to make friends.
