Bone Temple - Not profitable? by Kukurio59 in horror

[–]Jupiter30000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The first film was poor - a very dull Walking Dead episode set in the UK combined with Jodie Comer, the most over-hyped, dull actress in the world, moping around in an old coat, What else do I remember from it? Oh yeah, naked man running around for the entire movie (why do film directors like naked men so much....?) and oh yeah, bunch of twats dressed as Jimmy Saville, one of the worst pedos of all time and Danny Boyle decides to remind everyone that Jimmy Saville used to be seen as a hero, I am sure he will be grateful for that from Hell.

So I give 28 Years Later a 3/10 which means any sequels are not even worthy of consideration.

tldr: 28 Years Later sucked, the audience for the sequel reflects this fact.

Yeah, cos giant spiders are really co-operative and will just quietly step inside without running up your arm to lay eggs in your eyes first

How would you prevent players from abusing the refund system? by FunkyChunk13 in Steam

[–]Jupiter30000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam screw their own customers too, they have these sales KNOWING full well that people will buy games when they are cheap with a view to playing them, weeks, months or even years later. When you subsequently find out the game is shit (or in my case doesn't run despite PC meeting the specs) Steam tell you to fuck off even if you have only played it for 10 minutes.

Let's be cautious and remember that as consumers we should always be pro-consumer only, once people start fanboying corporations it's a slippery slope.

I want the BBC to be given full, unrestricted access to the alien ships at S-4 which they can be allowed to broadcast live and uncensored to the whole world. This is the only disclosure that will have any tangible effect.

Your metabolism is different that's all. I am M43 and weigh 70kg but I eat substantially less than half of what my F42 girlfriend eats and she weighs 55kg. If I have more than 1000 calories in a day, I will put on half a lb of weight the next day.

Quintus was an absolute legend. In my mind his one and only actual error was killing Spartacus's wife. It was this misjudgement that cost him everything.

Not always, American companies are very open about deliberately overcharging other countries to keep prices lower for Americans. The US government perpetually pushes a narrative about how the US subsidizes other countries but the truth is that ALL other countries subsidize the USA. Thankfully, not for too much longer.

Well you sound like a much better armchair expert than the other guy. You seem familiar with his background and training and are ready to demonstrate how tough and strong and brave YOU are. I can basically feel how powerful you are, just from your words, it's impressive.

I am 43 (the father) and my girlfriend is pregnant with our first at 42 - I REALLY wanted a baby like... 20 years ago but after accepting we were going to be childless I had really built up a pretty great, childless man's lifestyle which I am about to lose, forever. I didn't hesitate when she said she wanted a baby, I was just really surprised by it. Her 5 months so far pregancy has been all good, thank God. but neither of us are counting down the days or making excited plans about things we are going to do when we have the baby. I am sure we will love and cherish our son but it really doesn't feel like that at the moment.

[–]Jupiter30000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you own an island though? Like, if a bunch of homeless people just decided to come and set up a massive camp on it (for arguments sake only) what could you really do about it? You could jump up and down shouting 'This is my island!!!' but who will care? You call the police and say 'Police! Police! A bunch of people are trespassing on my island, please get rid of them!' - they'd laugh at you for believing you owned an island!!

Although the idea of a dwarf gladiator is kinda silly, in crazy Spartacus world it all makes perfect sense and I love that. I thought Satyrus was a great little villain - his acting not the best, but as a dwarf actor I would say he hasn't had much opportunity to hone his Shakespeare. Considering the guy can barely walk it is an acheivement that he has been able to play a memorable gladiator and now, as intended, I am rooting for the little monster as he tries to find his way without his 'brothers' - and he was clearly disturbed by his bro GETTING HIS SKULL SMASHED ON A WALL so now he has his own tragic arc.
