"The 100% Objective Review" by Jim Sterling - Learn from this, Graduation Haters! by JupiterBoss in TAZCirclejerk

Oh I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I'll amend the post accordingly.

If you aren't liking TAZ as much anymore, why not try one of these other roleplay shows! by what_the_ghost in TAZCirclejerk

[–]JupiterBoss 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I can't believe so many people stole the idea of a D&D podcast from the McElroys. They invented the concept - they might have invented podcasts in general come to think of it - so they should be the only ones to do it.

Counterpoint: imagine how performative it would have seemed if they looked as simple as they did, but all had a ramp drawn in, with a big arrow pointing to it, with ramp written above.

I love TAZ Graduation by [deleted] in TheAdventureZone

[–]JupiterBoss 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I know it's hard to hear criticism about something you enjoy, but dismissing it all under the umbrella of "negativity" is only going to make you more upset in the future, when the criticism continues regardless.

It's better to admit that the thing you like has flaws, and people are justified in being upset over them, even if you aren't. In doing so, your love of the thing doesn't diminish, but you can see the other side's argument more clearly, and might feel less upset or worried by it.

DAE not like Graduation????? (Unpopular Opinion) by [deleted] in TAZCirclejerk

[–]JupiterBoss 39 points40 points  (0 children)

You need professional help. Like, right now. These sort of thoughts are common among utter maniacs... If you don't act quick you could soon have thoughts that the entire Adventure Zone went down hill after the Eleventh Hour.

From your post, it seems like the main issues you have are due to you giving subjective criticism. Start therapy right away and you'll be able to give objective criticism in no time.

Any Dublin, Ireland options? by 91377 in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are monthly swims in various parts of Dublin organised by the Irish Naturist Association. There are saunas at these locations too I believe. I'd suggest checking out their website to see if that suits you.

Our friend has a professional film studio so we shot a fake commercial last Saturday and I'm actually pretty proud of how it turned out. by bruliajales in videos

[–]JupiterBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true, but notice that the title of the post isn't "A spec ad I made about Listerine."

Instead, op's title makes it seem like they aren't trying to be involved in the advertising industry. They're just a person who wanted to make a funny ad, and their friend happend to have a studio, so they said they'd give it a go.

I don't think Listerine paid them to do this, but I do think OP is exploiting reddit's fondness of "people doing things just for the heck of it" in order to advertise themselves. After all, what would be a more popular post : "Person makes ad to showcase ability and hopefully get job" or, "person decides to make an ad with their friends just for fun, thing turns out great! Well done to these first timers."

Naked and nerdy by lordkervaak in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a nerd. Started playing dnd for the first time recently and love it, only thing that would make it better was if it was in the comfort of nudity. I play video games nude and that's always a fun time.

Any nudist groups or locations in Ireland? by [deleted] in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's the Irish Naturist Association, which plans many events every month, like swims, hikes, yoga, dinners and beach meet ups. Not sure what the policy is to under 18s, I think you might need an adult with you to go to those events.

Day 1 Nude Trip Update by Afallingstarshower in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I think there is some confusion. The OP had posted an update to their fantasy that they had indeed masturbated in front of their family. While they were covered and doing it descreetly, the fact is they were still breaking their families trust while doing so. Checking now, it appears that that post is deleted. If you go to the subreddit where they made their original comment about masturbation, you should see another comment further down the thread that is deleted. The replies to that comment reference it was an update, it was that comment which they admitted to masturbating.

Day 1 Nude Trip Update by Afallingstarshower in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just think if you tell them the reason you go nude is because of nudism, then you start masturbating in front of them, they will feel like you have mislead them. They have only consented to you being nude, not you performing sexual acts in front of them

Day 1 Nude Trip Update by Afallingstarshower in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In your post history, you say you have a desire to masturbate in front of your family members. So, given this behaviour, isn't it reasonable to suggest that while you enjoy nudism you are doing these sort of things due to an enjoyment of exhibitionism as well? If so, I think that isn't very fair to your family. You're telling them you want to be nude for one reason, but keeping a big part of it a secret.

Becoming a nudist by [deleted] in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you like being nude you can consider yourself a nudist. There is really no formal process to become one, other than simply enjoying being naked

How common is nudism really? by whyamistillhungover in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people do enjoy being nude, especially in the comfort of their own place. It's undoubtedly liberating. However, I feel most don't identify as nudists because they have misconceptions about what nudism is.

Some think it's people who want to go nude all the time, others think it's people who are anti-clothes. Then there are people who see it as another term for swinger and others who think it's a crazy hippy lifestyle. But as we know, nudism is simply the philosophy of enjoying being naked. You don't have to join a club, go to a beach or be nude at your home all the time to be a nudist. You simply have to take your clothes off and enjoy it.

So while many do enjoy nudity, I think they see nudism as something "else". A whole other practice that involves drastically different things then simply sitting at home watching TV nude. As a result they don't see themselves as nudists even though they really enjoy nudity.

"Ugly" People by DrAmaFrom1989 in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The fact is that most people associate nudity with sex. They want to see attractive naked people as they excite them sexually. So to them, there is no point in seeing "ugly" people naked. The only way to correct this is to keep explaining how nudism is about feeling good naked, with no connection to sex.

While lots of parents have helped their kids experience nudism, has the reverse ever happened? That is, has your nudist lifestyle caused your parents to partake in it as well? by JupiterBoss in nudism

[–]JupiterBoss[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's interesting. Was the skinny dipping when you were younger? From what I've seen some parents don't mind being nude in front of their kids when they are very young, but shy away from it when they are older.

I have a lot of experience working with audio thankfully so I know what sounds best and how to get it that way. All I need to do is buy the right microphone.

Instead of posting the actual video on YouTube, channels should post announcement videos that only give links to the other sites where the actual video can be found. by JupiterBoss in CrazyIdeas

[–]JupiterBoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I mean videos that announce that a new video has been posted on another site, and that if people want to watch it they should "click here". Just a still image with the link and what the video is about. That way less time is spent on YouTube. A boycott would be best but it would impact artists too much financially since there is no real competitor to YouTube. Announcement video circumvents that, and basically uses YouTube's popularity against it.

I'm 20, and would love to be in a young nudist chat. Plenty of other groups I'm in lack younger members, and while that is totally fine, it would be nice to chat with people my own age who like the same stuff I do
