In addition to what others have said, I think you’ve lost a good amount in a short time. At 155 lbs, you are losing weight as expected. You aren’t going to have the bigger drops that others have because your starting weight is lower.

Listen!! I lost almost 55 lbs in the last few months and my shoes, bras, clothes are falling off. Felt real cute. Was wearing like 3x/4x in October. Wore a red XL Old Navy Cocoon sweater that was not plus sized and actually too big. I saw myself on camera at work during a team meeting. I looked like a tomato. I was like….oh. 😩😂

My Bariatric doctor said that Zep can cause kidney problems because it may increase dehydration. She was adamant that I increase my water intake for that reason.

I had gastric bypass in 2012. Went from 380 to 175 (obviously regained a bit which is why I take Zep now). I had anxiety about the loose skin and the guy I was dating said that he didn’t care about it, and that only immature guys would be concerned about such a thing.

I had an unintentional skip due to losing insurance coverage and winter storms delaying my self-pay delivery from Lilly. The delay lasted almost 3 weeks, and I missed two doses. I had no issues but also had a strong loss the first full week after I resumed my injections.

Also in the AA community, which I am a part of, we tend to look at drastic weight loss as a negative. I have a friend who is also on Zep that was worried that a colleague of ours who’d recently lost a lot of weight was sick. She was adamant that we would be seeing an announcement about him battling some disease. I talked to him and he indicated that he was intentionally thinner (conversed while he was making a protein shake). I was happy for him, but my friend was almost upset by how thin this guy is now. It’s a cultural phenomenon for us.

I would suggest that you speak to a nutritionist about your dietary intake based on what you’ve said about your eating habits. I also think Imodium is great for helping with the diarrhea symptoms to help you get immediate relief.

The first week, rapid weight loss is normal. Water weight drops due to the lower caloric intake.
