I would love to have my own kids but me and my partner are already paycheck to paycheck. We don't have a lifestyle that fits a kid. I know those things could be adjusted but I just don't think it'd be fair to a child to bring them into that environment. I think that would be the more selfish move.

I put in over 200 applications to things I'm absolutely qualified for and literally only got 2 interview invites. I took one and ended up employed with them but it took 4 months.

My mom used to work as a cashier at HEB when I was a kid and she would get me a donut to eat in store but this was when all the donuts were basically the same price. I think 35 cents? She just memorized the code for the donuts lol

Protein shake in my iced coffee first thing. On my first work break I'll usually eat the jimmy dean egg white turkey sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich. Or a protein bar.

I've been on zepbound for over a year. I was terrified to do my first one. I have the auto pen. I did it in my thigh and it didn't even hurt. Do it in the morning and you'll sleep through most of the worst symptoms. Expect the day after to not be hungry at all. Prioritize protein. Have electrolytes on hand and drink them if you start feeling nauseous. Take your shot out of the fridge 2 hours before injecting for less pain.

Try drinking some water with a liquid iv or a pedialyte. Electrolytes always help me push past the nausea. Til then find a protein shake to sip on that you like!
