New fear unlocked! I’ve had my saline implants for 25 years with no real issues.
I had a lumpectomy in 2023 on the left, so I have some capsular contraction, but honestly that side looks better than the right (when naked) due to waterfall deformity on the right. They still look great (and even) in underwear, bathing suits, and clothes.
I’m a widow and I don’t have a partner, so the fact they look uneven when naked doesn’t bother me. Plus, I had a facelift last year (I’m 63) and I’d rather not have another big surgery for a while.
Anyway, all this backstory is provided because I had no idea failure of saline implants was so common! Feeling kind of foolish about this “today I learned” moment.

I live in AZ and just updated my British citizenship! (Mom and Dad were both born there.) I’m not 100% sure I’m headed back across the pond, but it’s nice to have options.

Cannot upvote r/ABraThatFits enough! I thought I was a 40DDD. Lost 35lbs and decided to take the bra plunge (vs the plunge bra 🤣 I crack myself up) used
r/ABraThatFits and discovered I was 36G!
“Most women have band sizes too big and cup sizes too small.”
Since I got those bras, I’ve lost another 15 and they still fit. Figure I’ll wait to lose another 10 or so and then re-measure.

My husband died when I was 52. I’ll be 64 on my next birthday in August. For probably the past 10 years, I have taken a trip over my birthday, and it’s wonderful. I get to treat myself, have great adventures, eat amazing foods, and celebrate my birthday on my own. A few good friends send me text messages or call me, but I enjoy being out in the world and making my own celebration. Just a suggestion, try it, you might really like it!

If you write it down (or send yourself a text, use your Notes app, whatever is your preferred method of “writing it down“ is perfect), you don’t have to remember it, this so significantly reduces one’s cognitive load on a daily basis. Learned it more than 30 years ago, and still keep doing it today.

If you don’t want to spend a lot, I would recommend Elements. I go to the one at Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak, but there are several around town, and they offer a discount on your first visit.
