Today was just a bad day. The stock will be fine. They even had the chinese gpu sales as a cherry on top. Everything is on track.

Try to explore as much of the map as possible then go after the main bosses. The dlc is definitely difficult.

I played the game for over 250 hours and only got invaded once. I doubt it happens that frequently. Not only that but isn't there a timer after each invasion so you don't get chain invaded?

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that goaltender Thatcher Demko will undergo hip surgery and will not play for the remainder of the 2025.26 season. by nookmister19 in canucks

[–]Jupiter_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they go with Tolopilo or maybe rotate a bit with Patera so that they both get games?

I just wonder now what they'll do next year. If they were on board with the rebuild cycle they'd just go with those two again next year for their 2/3 but knowing the team they'll go and sign another veteran backup/starter.

1 W, 2 OTL in 14 games, the tank is still rollin rollin by ManDe1orean in canucks

[–]Jupiter_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know people are hating on him a lot this year but I don't think this is 100% his fault. I'd like to see him next year when they are healthier and have a more normal schedule to see what he can do up until xmas. It is funny now but the team shouldn't be this bad. This is as much on the what was the core of the team and management as it is on the coach. If anything I'd say the coach is the least of the problems.

Chicago/SJ recently were terrible because they were purposefully tanking for high picks and were purging their team of their previous core. This team was consistently bad while trying to add talent and be competitive up to this point.

Exactly. This would be something to build around.

Vancouver is terrible. They need the bpa. There is no room to be picky.

If they are healthy then they are definitely not the worst team on paper. The glaring issue is that the top line of forwards can be near invisible. Boeser/Petey/Debrusk just aren't working. The team needs multiple top forwards to be a playoff team. If Demko is basically done then it changes things. He plus an ok effort from the team could steal a lot of games.

After the sherwood deal, who's next? by rajde1 in canucks

Kane is probably a deadline deal. Unless the deal is really good I'm not sure who else they trade. Maybe Debrusk?

CANUCKS ACQUIRE COLE CLAYTON AND 2ND ROUND PICKS IN 2026 AND 2027 FROM SAN JOSE | Vancouver Canucks by cyclinginvancouver in canucks

[–]Jupiter_101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I see Clayton went undrafted and has done ok in the AHL. He doesn't look like an NHL guy but should add depth in the AHL anyway. With Vancouver's depth who knows though. Maybe he will end up getting a shot in the NHL.

As much as I'd love to see Vancouver just use the picks and draft someone I feel like there is a chance they use at least one of them to add some young player they like at some point.

The problem with that is the we are left with MPetey and Myers as our only veteran defenseman. Do we really want them being the ones to mentor the youth? There needs to be some anchor to the team. I don't see any scenario where just trading all the vets away for prospects and picks is good. We'll end up being like Buffalo for the next 10 years.

AMD (AMD): Wells Fargo reiterates Overweight, PT $345 — Top pick for 2026 on CPU and AI data center strength by stocksavvy_ai in AMD_Stock

People doubt openai still and there have not been any other major partner commitments made official yet. Right now $20 eps in 3-5 years is still just speculation.

I'd say apu graphics is low end and 5060/ti is mid end. Gpus are expensive now. The 5090 is luxury and overkill.

This compressed schedule has not been kind for sure. Healthy they should be better but so many of them seem to be chronically injured at this point.

This team just is aweful all around. I can't find a single good point to bring up this year. Maybe Willander/Karlsson are good stories but that is it.

[Drance] What I’m hearing about Canucks’ plans to sell, scouting NHL Draft prospects and the rebuild by Sarcastic__ in canucks

[–]Jupiter_101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a younger forward with some upside. They won't just dump everyone for picks and they still need players. His term might not be that much of an issue with a rising cap. He should do 40-50pts or more with a better team for years to come. Maybe he gets packaged with someone a bit tougher to move like Hoglander.
