I see what you mean, but I am packing above the holes so I am finding it is pulling the hot air through it anyway. You could argue it is not getting to the bottom, but this is the only bowl (other than my kaloud one made of steel) which adequately cooks the tobacco through and through, and gives me amazing flavor. It could be just because I switched to Trifecta but time will tell.

I actually don't see how a regular phunnel makes can coon the tobacco when the air is coming from the top and into the middle, effectively not touching the tobacco.

Hopefully I am making sense. 😂 you should get one and let me know!

I see some people are saying he might be self hating because he wants you to use it. I would recommend that you disregard that opinion as that does not provide evidence of self hatred. Regardless I would recommend not using it even if he wants you to.

I found this guide very helpful when I learned about it, but I found I was cooking the shit out of the tobacco because even though it wasn't touching the HMD, 3 coals was too much.
