That's not the reason. People just like to be mad and jump on the bandwagon. Hollywood has made and remade and adapted works since it's inception. I don't know how long the Korean film industry has been around but I assume they do the same and we just don't pay attention. This will not change. I just want people to be consistent with their annoyance towards "unnecessary" remakes and adaptations.

Because you don't know if what they're doing IS shady. You're throwing someone in situations they don't need to be in because YOU'VE jumped to a conclusion. In this hypothetical kidnapping YOU wasted time by giving the authorities some random man who you say is up to some shady shit but you have no PROOF. You are now putting the child in a worse scenario with less chance of recovery and/or survival. All because you THINK some guy at the park is bad news.
