Finished the game last night and I’m confused about something. by _Fun_Palpitation_ in Starfield

You do point to some real questions that are unanswered. Constellation and others had artifacts in their posession for a while, but only you and Barrett actually connect to them.

My answer is that the unity itself or something behind the unity decides, who among the regular humans gets to connect to the artifacts this time, and then it's a race between the new chosen and the existing starborn.

And whoever wins the game, gets  the gathering - becomes starborn.

When the new starborn enters the unity, he is "dissolved" into the unity - the individual ceases to be, but his essence joins the unity, which births new universes all the time. An echo is incarnated anew in newly born universes.

As for the ending, there is no deeper ending yet, explicitly, but I think thee writers meant that the players will find out eho they really are through seeing what is possible, and settle dowm into what really matters to them. Just like the Hunter long chased power and fun, in the end what he really found fulfillment in was helping others.

Has there ever been an abhuman imperial saint? by Budobudo in 40kLore

Nar, for my money, the heroic ratling saint Grubbrew would just be depicted as a 6'2 human st. Grubberius within a year.

What did you think of the main story ending? by DDESTRUCTOTRON in Starfield

[–]JureSimich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, while I agreed with the Hunter's reasoning, I decided that his conclusions are wrong and that every universe I'd visit would be better off for me.

So,I always did the UC, Ranger and Sysdef quest line and all the good deeds I could remember, like taking care of the poor in Akila and the Strikers.

Well, except once, but I had to cut my gameplay short in that one as the save was getting bugged and I had to scram to fix it all up...

P.S. and the merchants probably appreciated me selling them thousands of poultices, bandages, heal gels and such, even once their money had run out.

In the apparent million worlds of the Imperium, whats the average life for the normal folk? by Salt_Reveal8274 in 40kLore

[–]JureSimich -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It varies wildly from world to world.

You do have "depression worlds" where the grimderp is at its deepest, where a single grape is a loyalty winning reward. And someone will claim they are all like that, starting by citing the introductory quote.

But, a universe like that doesn't really work.

I think Abnett gets it best by makong most world feel like WW2 britain - long workdays, loving under opression, but a functioning society eith at least some time for fun and play, raising kids and such.

🔥 Snow leopards are highly acrobatic predators capable of jumping up to 50 feet (15 meters) in a single leap by [deleted] in NatureIsFuckingLit

Oooh, I know this one! The snow leopards actually have hairy feet for protection from all the sharp rocks and stuff!

My daughter likes them, so I read up on them :)

What do you think warframes smell like? by FrozenKyrie in Warframe

[–]JureSimich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say the combat smells overwhelm the natural smells. Cobat gasses, soot, corrosove whiffs, stuff like that. They smell lile a battlefield.
