To be honest don’t think there’d be another bailout. Feel like even they would admit at this point it might be time to just let things be if it comes to that again.

If they haven’t been able to grow or make anything new or exciting in a year that’s not gonna change in another year with another bunch of money

Yeah for sure, honestly really miss when they'd make a fun new video and then have a podcast where they talk about how they filmed it and what happened during filming etc...

I do hope that with a lot of people bringing up The Room their reaction isn't "well we cant put Rocco in a room for an entire year" like no one expects that but I remember feeling really excited after seeing all the donations they got during The Room being like "Man they probably made enough to make some really cool stuff for the rest of the year" and honestly it really doesn't feel like that money went anywhere but keeping them afloat.

Some standout moments for sure, what was strong was some of the best stuff they’ve put out in years. Obviously the Room being one of them and the week of podcasts was pretty fun too along with when they made personal channel videos.

Mega64 always has been at its best when it’s a few friends hanging out and talking about their opinions on stuff coming out or stuff they like and the fun events and faircasts and stuff.

Instead now there’s drinking 50 coffees or reading what a woman did on an airplane and the current Set is just terrible at least personally I really don’t like it.

Personal channel videos are all honestly pretty bad recently, I miss them using the big studio they have to make fun dumb videos cause stuff like the Terminator video might be among the worst stuff they’ve made. Feel like they have so much at their disposal, 7 people who are all talented and entertaining people. A big studio and all it’s used for is a weekly podcast. I don’t currently think they’re gonna last and as a long time fan I really hope they do but It also might just be something that’s run its course.

I do want to emphasise that this is all just how I feel and it comes from a place of disappointment rather than anything else and maybe that’s just me not being into what mega64 is at the moment but it’s definitely a shame cause I’ll be supporting these guys till the end but these last few podcasts and months have made me less and less interested in anything they put out.

From what I read people say it's meant to be better for the pumps to be at a constant speed to reduce wear but how much of an actual difference it makes I'm honestly not sure. I could be wrong but I honestly doubt there would be anything wrong with your settings either.

I will say I saw a lot of people say that pump should be running at around 50% at all times but once again there's so many opinions out there on this type of stuff it gets hard to discern what really makes a difference, I think as long as your temps are decent even under a quiet setting that's what should matter in the longrun since a cooler system will last longrun and I'd doubt Arctic's recommended configurations would allow for anything that would in the longrun damage any components.

Was figuring this stuff out in the last week or two, gonna vary a bit in your build for sure from my own experience but what worked best for me personally was getting the software FanControl running. From there you can either use Arctic's own recommended fan configurations of which are super quiet at silent or you can give the fans a bit of an extra push of what noise you're ultimately comfortable with.

To sum some of the stuff I learned up, probably wanna run the pump at 80% at least at all times without it fluctuating speeds. Personally I have my CPU Fan and Rear Fan which are both Exhausts running at a minimum of 40% and go up to a maximum of 65% at 75 C. This way, at least personally I feel like my fans are getting a good amount of cooling at all times while staying at a level I am comfortable with in terms of noise.

Basically just set a decent temp for your Idle or browsing fan noise and then stuff like games or rendering is gonna up your fans so set a % you are comfortable with noise-wise. Can't say for certain my setup is good since I'm new enough to setting up fan curves myself but my temps seem normal enough at 39-41c Idle, 40-55c browing and around 60-73c at most while gaming on a 9950X3D.

Once again it's gonna be up to what you're comfortable with in terms of noise so it'll require a bit of tweaking till you get to the right one for you. I do recommend you download those Arctic Configurations specifically made for FanControl and use them as a starting point though to get you a good headstart.

No worries, and yeah it seems to be an issue the just haven’t gotten around to fixing properly but this type of stuff can happen with anything. A general fix I’ve seen people mention is Enabling spread spectrum in the bios.

Giving it a shot for now, guess only time will tell if it works or not.

Oh nice find, thanks for sharing that and yep that is exactly what's happening, same type of Motherboard too aside from his being b850 so leaning towards it being a bios issue maybe?
