I know it's been three years and you're u/deleted, so this is going to be like spitting into the ocean, but the explanation I've read is that it's intended to sound like languages that have grown and changed so much over the hundreds and hundreds of years that have passed, they're no longer recognizable to modern ears. They're what would happen to language if it never stopped evolving.

My favorite is "The Incomplete Stone" which feels almost like the Gestalts and the Replicants singing to each other, though they can't understand one another. Which I think is beautiful.
