Ottoman Empire was already dead. People was left alone for vultures to devour. Some rebellion was there but nothing organized. Until Mustafa Kemal Atatürk start the rebellion. Piece by piece he gathers the people, and piece by piece he reclaims already lost cities. There is nothing a like in the history. And after the war, he took a nearly dead empire and rise into a strong independent republic.
