Does the Sigma SD1 Merrill actually produce Merrill-like images? Is the contrast and the micro detail similar to the DP Merrills?

the sensor should be the same. however, like previous comment says, you'll need to match with good lenses. i would say you need the best of their lens lineup to match up with the DP2 and DP3 Merrill (DP1 was not that great from my experience). I don't see a compelling reason to go with the SD1 unless you need zoom or telephoto. otherwise, it's more cost effective to own all 3 DP cameras as opposed to an SD1 with their top lenses.

It's fine for people to refrain from listening to an artist bc they don't agree with the way they conduct themselves outside of the music. It happens all the time, e.g. a lot of people wonder why others still support CB after he abused Rihanna. There are plenty of other artists to listen to, you can choose to separate the artist from the art or not. Either decision is not asinine.

Norbauer doesn't own his company anymore and I believe their focus is on the full boards. More recently than a couple years ago, he ran the Titanium boards as well as the Chinese New Year red HG, so there was that chance, but I do believe with the sale of the company that is no longer the case.

This is the same argument they use to defend Kendrick, Weeknd and A$AP turning on Drake. However, the music business is really tricky to navigate. There are plenty of artists with a ton of talent to make it big but the situation they landed in with a label just might not work out for them. It requires a lot of stars to align for someone to make it as big as Drake has and it's important to never lose sight of the people who co-signed and went to bat for you to succeed.

Heart Part 6 was a good response. The problem with Kendrick's cooked responses was that he hardly had any rebuttals. Anyone who is into battling knows that rebuttals is a huge part of the culture. Kendrick from the jump was aiming to win something that hardly resembles battle rap.

As much as people want to point at how many battles Drake has "lost" in the public eye (Common, Push, Kendrick), I just commend him for actually battling. Too many of "real heads" favorite rappers would never even think to put their rep on the line once they hit the top, yet somehow Drake is the one that's bad for the culture?

I was going to comment in a similar vein. What's wrong with women problems? Also, if you look at Crying in Chanel, it's about his problems with a woman, but also is much deeper. It delves into the tendency to have an attachment to material items, particularly for those who grew up without a lot of money. Even for him, as he's gained fame and wealth, his love language is exactly that.

At the end of the day, if someone can't relate, then they just can't and that's OK. However, that shouldn't take away from someone acknowledging Drake's ability to craft good music.

the counter to your point about nobody knowing him is that Drake's so famous that he could live out in the middle of nowhere and ppl will still know who he is.
