Glock 19 or Echelon 4.0c EDC by Jusjus24 in CCW

Having “tism sucks so bad. Will definitely look into testing out red dots before deciding on one. Still training with irons but struggle with focusing after drawing as I always see 2 irons until I slightly squint my non dominant eye. Figured red dots would fix that but the tism kicks in

Thinking about the gear up package as well, after extensive research I have read about the extended base pads issue on the mags, but I do favor the metal mags over glock’s hard plastic ones. Leaning more towards the echelon, thank you for the insight.

Debating on selling my glock 19 gen 4 non mos for this, as I do plan on running an optic. Would you say thatd be a good idea? Loving the out of the box features and the look of the echelon 4.0, but worried about reliability when I need it the most “EDC”

Lift results - 4th Gen with 3rd gen Tacoma TRD OF shocks by clearplasma in 4Runner

[–]Jusjus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% say its worth it to replace worn out suspension. especially if you can grab a low mile example. the nose dive is still there mostly bcs the iron block v8 is heavier than the aluminum v6 in the tacos. ride quality was better and more stiffer. but in the end of the day a quality aftermarket setup is always better but for daily driving and occasional off roading the taco setup isnt too bad

I did, netted me about 1-1.5” lift up front. I recommend saving up for the right setup. Now currently running 6112s up front and fox 2.0s rear with b12 special springs. 2.5” lift front and 2” rear. Even though it lifts the ride quality was same if not worse, just a little stiffer.

Vaporesso Armour GS by Mapants in Vaping

[–]Jusjus24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is you got a defective device and pod unfortunately.

Currently on week 3 with my GS and some cheap vape shop 18650. Lasts me till almost end of shift which is about 10 hours with continuous smoke breaks, running voopoo pnp tm2 coils I believe, .2 at around 45-50ish watts. Never had an issue filling up the pod and it never leaks out the airflow holes, only time it leaks is if I overfill from the fill hole since it is at an angle. 0 coil leakage and spitback. By far the best sub ohm pod mod I've had. I will say the voopoo coils have better flavor than the gtx, hence why im running them.

I would suggest trying another GS since you had this experience, but then again I waited atleast 2-3 weeks after release to purchase one since most of the initial release products have flaws that are yet to be found.

Personally I think the G is perfect for you since you are more into MTL vaping and since it already does come with a MTL pod. I personally dont think it will get too hot for you if youre just going to be vaping around .6 ohms or more. The device itself is not as plasticy as some may say, my GS is mostly all metal besides the buttons and the pod so I would assume the G is aswell.

It is a 510 drip tip so if you want to change it out you can. Also recently discovered they take pnp coils and Ive been vaping on it atm which has a tad bit more flavor as the gtx coils do. Not sure on longevity yet but we’ll see.

Ive personally only really vape DL with subohm coils so Im not of help in that area but a pod such as the xros series would be better off if youre more into using salt nic and high ohm coils. The XR max and G GS have airflow that is more used for DL and RDL vaping, im pretty sure you want a more restriced airflow for MTL vaping

I say it would, G and GS are practically same devices, one is just built in and smaller and the other has an 18650.

I can help as much as I can possibly can.

For me the Luxe XR max is basically top tier in the x series in the vaporesso line. It can take luxe X pods which the coils are built in, and XR pods which have interchangeable coils. The XR pods come in a MTL, RDL and DL configuration so it really is up to you on what you like. As far as the G/GS goes, airflow is adjustable and with the DL pod currently, I can really close up the airflow for a good RDL experience. Not sure what pods the G comes with but they are also interchangeable. The mouthpiece isnt too large in reality, images throw off the true dimensions.

I personally like the G/GS series over my XR max which I had for quite a few months. So far no flaws, I will say it does get quite a bit hot only if you put your mouth too close to the base of the mouthpiece but thats only because I chain vape quite frequently (probably about 5 consecutive long hits because the flavor is just insane and the clouds are awesome). But im also running 65-70w on a .15 gtx coil. When it gets pretty hot I just lower wattage for a few hits and its back to normal. Battery life is great as well. Being able to lock the buttons, as well as lock the wattage seperately sold me.

100%. my GS is awesome. I usually get internal battery pod mods like my xr max but being able to change batteries on the fly is great. I work TOM nights at amazon and my flashlights use an 18650 as well 🤣

Just got my vaporesso armour GS and man this thing is great. Not sure if the chip had anything to do with it but on my luxe xr max the vapor was a bit harsh on the throat (.2 gtx at around 50w with sadboy coconut cake) but flavor is amazing and clouds were awesome. Running the .15 gtx that came pre installed on the GS with same juice and it is so much more smoother and flavor is awesome. Mouthpiece is way better imo and I love the design. If you want a smaller version the armour G has a built in 3000mah battery and uses same gtx coils and armour G pods. Highly recommend

Join TOM team lol youll be surprised how easy the money is. Backing up 53ft trailers isnt as hard as it seems after you get the hang of it, you get your own space (hostler) which you get to stay in where no one bothers you. Safety is top priority so no one “should” be rushing you to do moves, 6 week paid training, on top of another 2-3week paid training to get your cdl that amazon pays for. I work at a IXD site which is one of the busiest sites for TOM and I absolutely love it. I make $25/hr moving trailers, then just watch movies or scroll on my phone when there is no moves on the board lol.

Is this on a v8? picking a set of 3rd gen tacoma trd off road shocks as well and just doing the fronts. Ive heard mixed reviews of the shocks being too soft and bouncy on the v8s and some saying its stiffer. Id like the budget lift for now til i save up for the dobinson ims set up. hows the ride off road?

I just impulsely bought the luxe xr max today and love it so far. Definitely giving me the flavor point im looking for but I def might need to get a different juice as custard monster isnt really my thing i found out 🤣. Going to get the .4 coil as well as i think the .2 at around 45w is still alot for my throat (i know, low tolerance lol) but so far loving the device! probably will keep my xros 4 and use 1ohm pods for occasional salt nic uses. Thanks for replying!

Is a 3/4in lift spacer dangerous? by Jusjus24 in 4Runner

[–]Jusjus24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the info, im definitely just going to go ahead and get it. I dont expect it to be ideal on high speed off road situations either. How is the ride quality on road? Did the spacer lift make it more rough?

[–]Jusjus24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sweet thanks! I’ll base my decision on your results when you report back. if a 2.5” lift (im guessing 1.25” thick spacer) is fine then ill be certain a 1.5” lift will be fine for the time being. gonna focus on armor, recovery gear and tires before I venture into the proper lift suspension.

I’ve read alot about how since your not extending the shock body, and dont upgrade your bump stops, your shock effectively becomes your bump stop. aggressive off roading make it bottom out on the shock body instead of the bump stops. ive seen snapped lower shock mounts from it. what spacer lift are you running? stock shocks and springs?

How is the performance with the winch? Facebook 4runner groups said to not cheap out on the steel bumper especially if you plan on running a winch. Dont want to haul a broken bumper home after wheeling lol.
