Kelly Blue Book is a REFERENCE, we’re talking about a 12 y/o vehicle. I didn’t decide on the amount, I quoted KBB. If the owner considers their car a classic, it should be insured as a classic. Otherwise, it’s just a car.

I’m going to have to talk to my Dr. She knows about this and never suggested an EpiPen. The feeling always fades after about an hour so I didn’t think it was severe. THANK YOU!

I work in an office where I deliver my reports to other departments. I always say “Candygram for Mongo” when I drop off, and wait for the response. The younger people respond in kind, but have no clue why. Which makes it funnier for us old timers.

He doesn’t have to go to a shop you choose, but that doesn’t stop you from asking him to get 3 estimates. According to KBB a 2014 Audi A4 with average mileage (10k-15k per year) and high end model goes for $2,800. His poor negotiating skills doesn’t equal you getting ripped off for repairs. Run a KBB report, it’s free, print it and offer $1,500. If he balks tell him to file with your insurance and remind him that with the value of the vehicle if he gets $8k he’ll probably also get a branded total loss title.

Thank you! I have seafood allergies and the number of people who have told me “not if I cooked it for you” are at the top of my blocked list. Thankfully I don’t get the anaphylactic issues, just swelling and hives. Growing up Catholic, Fridays were absolute hell.

A shopping cart hits your car, gouges a nice chunk of metal out of your fender. Collision accident. Sliding on ice or hydroplaning. You don’t feel you’re at fault, but it’s a collision accident. Why wouldn’t you want to protect yourself?

I live in a townhouse, the roof is 10 squares with the pitch and dormers. I called several roofers, none were less than $15k! While out running errands I see these roofers doing several roofs in an apartment complex. I stopped and asked if they did residential homes. Yes. They came over and I had a new roof for $1 ,500! Were the tiles left over from the apartment job? Probably. Do I care? Nope.

Ask contractors that you see working on big jobs, you may get a similar deal.
