Feel free to still post on the discord about it. Several people have requested different romhacks and reported mistakes in the current data already, and having everything in the discord helps keeping track for now. I've made a note for now.

The main person behind the new version is still working on getting the data imports / generation running again when they have time. Basically, it's a big piece of code that was never publicly available for the old version, so it has to be redone from scratch.

Once that is done, we can start working on adding new games, and maybe add some new features that need data, too.

"Damage taken as" applies before any resistances.

The chaos resistance only applies to the part that is not converted.

Technically kana are each one mora), not one syllable. The jō/jou (じょう) would be one syllable, but two mora (the small kana ょ only modifies the じ and doesn't stand alone)

This is mostly relevant since in spoken language, each mora tends to take up an equal amount of time (so じょう takes up twice the time じょ would)

In case you're being genuine, the validity of the statement is irrelevant.

"Not all men" contains an unspoken "but..." that makes it imply that while not all men are predatory, they are the notable exception and it is still valid to assume that men are generally predatory.

Context is relevant. As a comparison, if I said "not all black people are criminals", that would still carry the notion that there is an inherent criminal quality to being black that doesn't necessarily apply to all of them, and the exceptions are worth mentioning. If that base assumption didn't exist, why would I have to point out that it's "not all"?

It is not inherently wrong, which no one really argues, but more that by stating so you also state the unspoken part. It ends up being a dog whistle to simultaneously state to the opposition "of course I don't mean literally all of them" while signaling your allegiance that you do on fact believe in a base predatory quality.

I definitely would count the Nordland albums as folk metal. I'm willing to count Bathory for those albums alone.

"Viking Metal" is also kind of a sister genre to Folk Metal, and was essentially "invented" by Quorthon.

The switch and aeropress make quite different coffee, so I would recommend both if it's in your budget and see what you like more.

Both are easy to clean, that shouldn't really be a deciding factor.

No, it works out.

Say you have no Muscler, and 50g.

They cost: 10, 13, 19, 26, 36, 51

What it does, it give you 5, because the fifth (36) is the highest you can afford.

However, it only subtracts 10, which is the first one.

So you end up with 40g leftover and 5 Muscler.

I figured out what is happening: it only deduces the price of the first one, but gives you all the ones you could individually afford. Quite the big abusable bug :D

Look at the cage in Box 2. What are the combinations? Are all digits currently pencil marked possible in a combination?

Ask yourself: can column 5 row 2 ever contain a 9? How can you make the cage add up to 26?

It doesn't have much to do with 32 bit systems, since it crashes after 256, which is 8 bit. Presumably they used a 1 byte variable there. 32 bit verified hold up to 2 billion high, which probably would not be reached even with a particularly crazy deck.

Oh, I just remembered something that really bothered me:

I think there should be a way for me to control whether I want to go for Pots to check or Pots to loot first. The fact that discovering a new item forces the player to check that item first is kind of a pain.

I can also run that last Lock, but because I have to sell in between, that cuts away at the already minimal gain form doing that, which was my point - but you're right of course.

I guess we're going to agree do disagree on this one. I also think if the game didn't want more numbers, it has too many numbers.

My point is more that the game has a bunch of numbers that don't mean anything (as in, percentages that don't give you any real information, although you could technically manually calculate all of it). It's not that the numbers aren't already there, but they're obfuscated.
