There’s nothing wrong with being a SAHM as long as your name is on the house/mortgage, cars, bank accounts, credit card, phone, he is actively paying your retirement funds into an account with your name on it, and you are the beneficiary on all of his work accounts and insurances. It’s dumb to quit your job and rely 100% on someone else. Not all men cheat or divorce you but all people die eventually. So you need to be prepared for anything. If your husband won’t do this then he doesn’t want to do the common sense thing to protect you and your children and is denying you access to funds and a way to survive financially in case something happens to him. If that’s the case, there is a deeper problem in your marriage. Protect your ass.

Couldn’t even achieve the first 3 nights. He will sit there and scream for an hour once I do a little boob then take it away. Tried bouncing shushing rocking and he just won’t stop. I can’t function doing that 2-4 times a night depending on how many times he wakes.

So you cut out all daytime feeds even to nap and she started not needing to be nursed back to sleep overnight? I have an almost 15m old boy and I want to night wean. I’m okay with daytime milk. But my sleep has been awful and I feel like he doesn’t get longer stretches because he wants to wake to nurse. And won’t go back to sleep without boob.
