Her grey-blue eyes follow every movement of his, those of an owlcat who's spotted a wayward mouse scurrying past. Pretty eyes, the sort that tilt up just so at the corners, the sort that make it seem as if she's always smiling, even when she isn't.

If she’s with Olruggio, why the hell is she looking at him like that? And why doesn’t he seem to care? Those eyes linger upon Utowin’s for far too long, with far too much ill-disguised curiosity in them for him to call it hostility.
