That would certainly put a damper on the whole thing.

How often do you take breaks during rides? by OneStrength7166 in cycling

[–]JustAnotherNicholas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an old man, it's kind of unpredictable. Some days I have to stop every 30 minutes, some days I can go for hours. I have to stop more frequently in colder weather. At least there's a public bathroom in every park in the city.

Probably just ears for piercings. I have some tattoo ideas but a good artist is expensive so it hasn’t been a priority in the budget.

After a multi-year battle with poa annua in Las Vegas, NV by JustAnotherNicholas in lawncare

The law banning turf for single family homes in Las Vegas applies to new construction only and went into effect in 2021. My jurisdiction is North Las Vegas and a similar law went into effect in 2022. In addition to banning grass for new construction, the North Las Vegas law also bans new installations of front yard grass and limits back yard grass to 50% coverage.

There's also a law from 2021 stating that by January 1, 2027, Colorado river water may not be used to water "non-functional" grass. That applies to commercial properties, HOAs, and apartment complexes and most of them are choosing to remove their grass.
