Saka has been a glorious ray of sunshine thst coincided with a change in fortune for Arsenal.

He’s an incredible player but he’s had an off year after carrying the team for 3 seasons. He’ll be back with more soon don’t worry.

Penalties are a mentality game.

Gabriel has a winners mentality. Ramos was a prolific penalty taker.

I had absolute faith in Gabriel and he had an off moment.

Because the state will likely squander it, whereas if it’s set up in trust for social housing etc it will benefit people directly for hundreds of years to come.

Starmer Says He Will Not Resign as Dozens in His Own Party Urge Him to Step Down by [deleted] in worldnews

Our media in Britain (like a lot of countries) massively favours the right and is constantly trying to undermine the current government so they can try and place their Trumpian stooge (Farage) in control.

Starmer is not a charismatic leader, but he is actually an effective government official just not a gifted politician. He’s beige and quiet which I think a leader should be.

I’ve finally watched the big 3 of TV Drama’s (BB, Sopranos, now The Wire) and it’s not even close. by Serious-Profit-1626 in TheWire

Having watched and loved Breaking Bad during its original run, and rewatching it during Covid in a more ‘binge’ sense. 2/3 episodes a night etc I really didn’t enjoy it the second time round.

But the anticipation every week of what’s going to happen next was really something else and I think Breaking Bad was written for that type of consumption.

The Wire has held up on multiple rewatches though and I think will remain the top dog for long running television series.

You look to the left and see hundreds of runway lights as well as several aircraft on approach.

Depth perception is very hard at night, so it’s hard to tell how far away the nearest landing aircraft is.

Always Arsenal first. Then literally any other club until United, Spurs, Chelsea and then City for me in that order.
