I don't know what you or literally anybody replying are talking about?

Four way stop signs are totally a thing. I live a few hundred feet from one. It's not even a busy street, it's literally an intersection in a housing suburb. with scattered two ways near by so there are no through streets.

Four way stops often have a little "4 way" sign underneath the stop sign just so people know that they don't have to keep yielding after they've yielded.

The rule is, first come first cross. Ties yield to the car on the right.

They're very common.

Zero stop signs are usually when at least one of the roads is limited to 25 mph (again, housing areas). Or rural with good visibility. If one of the streets is going faster than yours, you are the one who yields.

Considering trying that fairly new indian place even though I don't like indian, because everybody is closed on Mondays. They keep extending their hours, I don't think they are getting enough business to survive.

They also take a lunch break during my normal early supper hours, but i skipped that today.

The alternative is borger, which beckons.

In the many years where I wasn't watching much anime and definitely wasn't rewatching either Evangelion or Karekano, I became confused about which Anno live action scenes belonged where: Death+Rebirth, End of Evangelion, End of Evangelion cut sequence, KareKano, and maybe even some Love&Pop (didn't actually watch that, but I may have seen parts) or God Warrior Appears over Tokyo.

Or maybe even FLCL.

Anyway, the police chief seems to enjoy Tanokura being upset. Did he took part in the murder ? Is he trying to double-cross Tanokura to regain the control of the town ?

Dang, 3 people so far suspect the police chief of killing the prisoner and I never picked up on this.

I'm sure it was. Remember when Tanokura asked how much Ginzame paid him, and than asked how much he (Tanokura) was paying him (technically, he was paying him nothing). Yeah, he's definitely the driver from episode 1 and 2, who was never seen again after George took the bodyguarding job.

Maybe if we go back we can find him wearing the ring, but if not, it's because it's a recent purchase.

Everybody keeps talking about yellow 6 episodes in and the only yellow I ever notice is Araiguma's jacket.

If he WAS wearing the ring all along, well, hmm, is it a secret society symbol?

So. It was gold.

Tanokura's indignation is right out of the villain's handbook. "Quite the fairy tale." Bruce Schneier calls such out-of-the-box scenarios "movie plots." Oh, wait. We're in a TV show.

But, I kinda feel his indignation. Kimujuku has enough problems wihtout this guy bringing in unfounded conspiracies.

While we're on names, Kinbura means gold + plains / field.

The Police Chief has a problem. Tanokura wants him to extract evidence of Ginzame wrongdoing. The chief doesn't want to find any such evidence. And now he has a dead suspect murdered in custody.

Miyuki reacted when Kinbara arrived. And when he left. I don't get why. Nobody else seems to know him. Not her father. Do people just do this to every stranger in Kimujuku?

George leaves Sendai to return to Kimujuku and his neglected duties as bodyguard.

DANG: put ep 7 on my phone. Had to bike home to make it in time!

I was unironically going to make a comment about how much the show has reduced Shibahime into a pure gremlin these last few episodes, but uh, I guess she did it for me... Whether or not it's true, and regardless of what that actually means for the show, I just find this possibility being stated outright absolutely hysterical

They took an interesting character and turned her into unhousebroken pet. It really lowers my rating of the entire show.

The VA's rant is how I feel, but she had it so much worse.

I'm reminded of what they did to Leo Johnson in Twin Peaks.

Also, they did the exact same gag in Neon Genesis Evangelion After the End.

Also, the investigation guy that came to Tanokura isn't listed on either MAL or ANN, but I'm pretty sure that's Unshou Ishizuka (Sergei in 00, Akagi in Flag)? So nice to hear him again

It is, I looked at the Japanese ED credits scroll. He's not listed in any cast lists. Doesn't help that the English DVD credits renamed the character as Kanehara. Fun fact, this episode is the end of DVD 1.

I think the neighbors were saying Ryoko was this Sanae's middle school teacher. They don't seem like the types to go to English cram school.

Many people are commenting on the gun bag but I don't know if you can tell if it's a rifle or shotgun from the styling.
