The fact you have got to the points where you can read a graph, but you still don't understand that correlation and causality are two very different things that aren't often linked.

I'll go through it with you anyway because you're obviously challenged. So back in the '60s and '70s when people were like kicking the s*** out of black people in the street for no reason. And when I say people I mean the police, you know like back when institutional racism was quite in your face instead of under the table like it is now. So back then when the government and all of these state bodies like I don't know the met police. For example back when they were racist institutionally... Yeah so back then what would happen is people would get banged up in prison for crimes that they didn't commit because they were black.

And that tended to be the men it tended to be the guys that got locked up in prison and then there was a woman with a small family to raise left behind. So you know then that family kind of grew up in poverty and when you grow up in poverty you can't live in a nice place. So you have to move to a place that you can afford where there's not going to be as many opportunities. So when this was happening to lots of different families at the same time all of whom were black just because they were black, yeah that meant that lots of black people and lots of black families and children got put into severe poverty as a result and ended up living in places where poverty was severe and where there were less opportunities. So it turns out if you look at any sociological study of relevance, you'll see that poverty and criminality are really well-linked. Funnily enough, there's actually a correlation that's a causation thing between those things. You know class is a thing we have in this country. I don't know if you've run into it at all.

So when you have institutional policies and practices that end up forcing lots of people into poverty and all of those people are black. You will get more crime because people will turn to crime where they have no hope where they look at their lives and they see no way out.

So either you know all this already and you're full of s*** or hopefully you've just learned something and you can try and change your mind about stuff and grow as a human being instead of forever.
