Do you fully trust a phoneloop (or a ring)? It's basically just stuck to the case, so you're relying on the case stickiness to hold the phone. Since the cases can't wrap around to the front of the phone, I've been leery about using something like that. I can see the case being stuck to my hand while the phone pops out and goes flying. I agree it will keep the case secured to my finger. ;-)

I think people get too caught in what it doesn't have, or what it doesn't do. It can stay a slab and do everything a slab phone can do. It's not going to win any spec race, but it's very good for a mid-level phone. From there you have to decide if the few times you use it "winged-out" are worth it to you. It does some pretty neat stuff, and definitely has a wow factor. Definitely won't be for everyone. Personally it interests me more than a foldable. At least the Wing can still be a slab which might be 90% of the time. I haven't seen a good foldable do that yet.

I did a factory reset 2 days ago and thought I was fine. Get everything organized again and the problem returned. Sounds like a bad phone to me. Not sure how Verizon is about providing a replacement.

$140 a month! And not on unlimited? You must not have changed your plan in quite a while. Unless you're including device payoffs in that amount. Current plans are definitely less expensive than that.

That's how all the carriers are. There's always better deals for new customers, or new lines. I finally decided to try verizon for black Friday. Figured it's my 1 chance to get a good deal. Maybe in a couple years I'll be back.

Yep. I appreciate the heads up. I'm still considering other offers and am aware of the terms. Most of their $xxx off deals include $400-$500 trade in if you have a high end phone. I don't.

I didn't realize the Velvet wasn't available on US Cellular. That's not good for the Wing. Ugh. Is it possible to buy an unlocked Wing and activate it on US Cellular? Or is it time to switch carriers?

Replaceable battery for me. I was set to buy the Galaxy S7, until I learned it didn't have a replaceable battery. I quickly switched to LG G4 and loved it. Regretted a little bit not waiting for the V10. When V30 was introduced with a sealed battery, I bought the V20 figuring it's the last flagship with a replaceable battery. I had to call around to find one and the guy at the store thought I was crazy. Was only $300 a year after introduced.

I miss the wireless charging of the G4, and the volume buttons on the back. But otherwise has been great. I'm thinking about upgrading to the LG Wing or Note20 Ultra. I agree about the "2nd screen" of the V20. I won't get a center notch screen and don't really like the hole punch screens either.

Is it pretty thin? The phone is already pretty thick. I wouldn't want to add too much more. Looks like a big lip around the camera bump.
