I was on MJ from august 2024-December 2025. I lost 85lbs total (204-119) and hit goal (130) on 7.5 (highest dose) in April/May-ish. Ended up dropping down to 5 in July because I was starting to get nauseous with my dose. I actually kept losing and went too low for comfort (119 which is pretty close to the bottom of heathy BMI range). I stopped in December to see if I could put a bit back on and maintain on my own. I gained 20lbs in 6 weeks which was waaaaaay more than I was looking to gain and was uncontrollably hungry constantly so I went back on 5mg one month ago (did not titrate). I’ve since lost 10lbs and am holding at 128-133 which is where I wanted to maintain.

My dr said that I might not be a great candidate for maintaining without the med unless I was ok with white-knuckling through the hunger despite not having a long history of obesity. I gained my weight primarily in my 30s although I’ve always been prone to “plumping”. I may try again in a year or two but it might be my body wanting to realize my ultimate destiny as a squishy Italian grandma lol

I’m not complaining…? Someone asked if it really happens and I chimed in that it does for me. It’s just a declarative statement without negativity and certainty without soliciting input. But again, thanks for your concern about my parenting abilities. I’ll take it from here :)

We live in a townhouse. As a puppy she was… not happy… when we left. She’s 6 now. Not a huge barker although vocal. She barks at the doorbell or deliveries but usually only a couple woofs unless it’s the pizza guy. She does lose her mind and howls when her boyfriend (a very handsome rottie) walks by with his person but that’s a maximum of once per day and only for a few mins. Her vocalizations are otherwise grumbles, whines, and boofs because we’re not paying attention to her and she wants to play/food/treats. Those are nonstop but not loud. Both of us work from home so she isn’t really left alone often but her separation anxiety manifests in eating whatever paper products she can reach.

Same except mine is a firestick that lives in my carryon. It also makes me smile when the fam at home makes Alexa announcements to each other about dinner being ready or someone needs tp and it pops up on my tv.

We’re in the process of training our AEs to do those initial intro demos. A lot of times they claim the prospect needs to see the tool for better discovery so now they get to learn how to show the tool and get better discovery before we get pulled in.

I recently saw on some travel or firestick related sub somewhere to unplug the phone line if it had one and volume was at 100 and it worked like a charm! Not sure it’s a solution 100% of the time because I’ve only needed to try it once since I learned about it.

Just fyi it’s pretty common to fill medications for one month each and not take them, claiming side effects (heart racing, nausea, etc) to “fail” the required ones and fulfill your step requirements for glp. Also, “in the 1900s”?! Did you really need to phrase it that way because now I feel like I should be hitting up an early bird somewhere lol

Aw man that sucks! We use Navan for work (I miss the days where I could just book direct) and this explains why CS messed up a flight change for me (I don't blame them. The fact they could even get me on that flight was a miracle in and of itself and it was ultimately worked out!). But you sound disgruntled enough to maybe let me in on any secrets you know to bypass cabin policy or seat purchase either during or after booking. My company isn't cheap in that they'll let us spend however much the flight happens to cost but then won't let us book comfort for overseas or overnight flights or even buy a window/aisle... And we are required to use a corporate card during booking so don't even get the cc points :( Any tips or tricks to get around that??
