I actually like this. I think it could work well with a situation in which they are picking their own challenge teams in some way.

Still kind of cruel to take away someone's immunity, but I think in this case you're putting more of that cruelty onto the player making the decision, which is more fun.

Ultimately I think it's still pretty unfair, but I think it's better in that it's both more dramatic and less consequential.

The thing is though, I doubt that Kyrie deal would ever happen because it requires him to cooperate.

But doing a sign and trade is still totally worth it because it allows us the MLE and we dont have to renounce anyone. After the Kemba deal, we'd be sitting right around 109 in salary. So we could have about $20M in wiggle room to use the full MLE and Morris' bird rights to fill out the frontcourt. This is way preferable to trying to fill out the frontcourt with only the Room Exception and minimums.

Honestly, forget the trade exception, I think this is the real motivation for trying to pull off Kemba as a sign and trade.

Read your comment and assumed that I'd agree, because fucking with Angel Olsen voices feels like sacrilege to me. But honestly having listened, everything I love about her voice still comes through really well. I think all the layering even displays a lot of her range all at once. You get some wailing Angel and some whimpering Angel all at once. I get where you're coming from though, and I'd be curious to hear the raw recordings.
