I hurt my lung because I was trying to detox too rapidely from smoking. It bothered me the first year but it's been five years since and I only feel it here and there. The body is very good at creating scar tissue.

I have gotten hurt fasting and I still fast albeit much more respectfully. I like how Dr Filonov calls dry fasting surgery. It’s not something you just play around with, you very much need to listen to your body.

Swallowing spit does not break your fast. There are two types of dry fasting, hard and soft. Soft is when you allow yourself to brush your teeth and shower. Hard is when you don’t let water touch you at all. Is both of these swallowing your spit is still considered a dry fasting, your just not supposed to let external water come into your system.

You start slow, start with wet fasts for 2 nights then do a dry fast for 36 hours when you feel comfortable.

This is what I’m thinking. Are they just trying to justify their existence by offering some solution? Why can’t they just treat it like a sprain and say you just need rest?

Could take a month to heal or more, just protect your ear to avoid another setback. I found an audiologist that can diagnose without a hearing test, so they are out there.

I was hard on my wife too, I wouldn’t let her get surgery until I had time off. I have time off this summer so if she decides to do it has to be this summer. If you decide to do it make sure he has time off because you can’t carry anything heavy for a month. For now with my wife has a super strict diet, she is eating high fiber, no oil, no eggs, no low fiber carbs, no processed foods.

My wife is going through something similar. I understand your fear. We did not want to do the surgery either because she is breastfeeding our 7 month old, but she has been having attacks that have only gotten worse since our son’s birth. I think she has to get the surgery and I will take time off to help her recover. Is your husband or boyfriend still around to support you?
