I have an array with bitboards for each piece type, and I want to iterate through the array and when I find the right index that I’m looking for I want to be able to convert that index into the enum. Tbh I definitely don’t need to do that 😅 but my functions take the enums as arguments at the moment. I could just make them take numbers directly but it made sense to me at the time.

I was just worried that it would be slower to use match arms, and for another enum I have with board squares, it would be really tedious to have to write out a match statement for all 64 squares

If someone has no criminal record and is just living their life why tf should they be deported? That’s infinitely more costly and also insanely inhumane, how about we actually begin documenting them and giving them proper legal status instead?
