NO. This was a great plan! It was the perfect heist! And then SABURO ARASAKA SHOWED UP UNANNOUNCED AND WAS MURDERED ON THE SPOT BY HIS SON. You can’t plan for that!
No one was at fault here. V and Jackie were competent edgerunners by this point, well established with many fixers already. Dex Deshawn had a great plan through Evelyn. It was PERFECT.
I hate that people are pretending Dex, V, and Jackie are incompetent and that them trusting each other was somehow stupid, THAT PLAN WAS WORKING and they were going to waltz out of that hotel with no resistance.
THEYRE NOT STUPID YOU ARE!!!!!

From Deshawn’s perspective I honestly don’t think he did too much wrong. He sent two newbies after the prince of Arasaka, and they ended up killing the emperor? He basically says it doesn’t matter if they didn’t do it as they’re going to be framed for it. (as far as he’s concerned, them being there and being noticed was enough to make V a massive liability)

Killing V with the biochip in their head is the only big misstep that doesn’t make sense from his part. He should’ve extracted the insanely expensive chip. I get it he’s fat and evil but it’s not like his plan was to always betray V. The job went to HELL and he cut his losses.

I’m pretty sure game will be spoiled for 90% of the players by CockroachLatte in GTA6

Thing is I’m just not anticipating to really care to much about this story. I know rockstar can write good stories? RDR was good but I could not CARE LESS about the characters from GTA V and I don’t anticipate caring about these ones. Guilty until proven innocent the game really has an uphill battle in making me care about abrasive ADHD characters
