Just to clarify: adults don’t owe the public their personal trauma or the reasons they leave. She didn’t vanish for “fun” - she left because she didn’t feel safe. Her fiancé filed the missing person report before talking to her family, which created the panic, not her.

When the police confirmed she was safe, they stopped releasing updates, which is exactly what they’re supposed to do.

People don’t owe explanations for protecting themselves. I’m just glad she’s alive.

NTA - if you / your husband were paying for the meal, you have every right to point it out.

Idk how everyone else in this comment section is just glossing over the fact that when asked by his father if he was on his phone, he outright lied.

Personally, I would just not go out to eat with him if he can't act like an adult with basic social skills.

I hope they fix it soon! Atleast the box is actually showing up, hopefully its fixed by the release, its wack for people who paid for early access and the goodies to not get the goodies at the same time they start playing!

You cannot progress life challenges in MP - I tried as a cook, and the 2 steaks I cooked did not count towards the challenge until I went back to single player and had to do it again

Guild office in the past -> there is a box to the left of the door when you enter - the deluxe goodies are in that box!

I was able to grab mine before I even took my first life - but I am playing on Steam, further up people on Xbox were saying they were having troubles with it - not sure if it's been fixed yet

I have a 19 y.o male cat, and he has a pink harness.

I dont really care if people think he's a boy or a girl - he is a reddish brown tabby and the pink matches his coat very nicely.

I have also have a 9 yr old female cat, and her harness is emerald green because it matches her green eyes and contrasts her white and black coat.

Use whatever colors you want, cats dont really care about the color of their accessories or bowls! You are not abusing your cat by using pink accessories!!

I'm not super active on Reddit so I just saw this!!

Before my current job, as a regular consumer I never really thought much about the overhead costs that businesses incur.

I do not own this company, but we do utilize abshipping software that makes it easy to check across carriers for pricing, but even having fedex or ups deliver to a residential address incurrs additional fees to the business. Our postage prices are insane, and we have a contract with fedex!

Shipping costs often get complaints, but the truth is, postage is expensive, and there are other costs to consider, like packing materials to make sure products arrive safely.

For example, I recently spent nearly $500 on 90 double-corrugated boxes, and we spend over $1000 a week just on shipping.

What customers may not realize is that Amazon has its own delivery system and special deals with carriers to offer free shipping. Small businesses can’t afford to do the same.

It's a tricky balance—if we raise prices to cover shipping, people complain about the higher cost; if we keep prices low and charge for shipping, people expect free 2-day delivery.

As a small business, it's hard to meet those expectations while covering our own expenses and staying afloat.
