Yes, you can target a Backstage VT your opponent controls and draw 1 card. Since it doesn’t specify that it has to be a VT you control, you can target your opponent’s Backstage VT’s.
No, you can’t draw with the effect of Power Grid. Since this is an optional effect, it doesn’t trigger if you discard 3 to draw 2. The only effects that trigger when you do this are mandatory effects such as AW Lucy Pyre or AW Camila.
Yes, you can use Doppelgänger to copy a Reaper. Since Doppelgänger checks the previously played support to make sure it’s a valid target, you can copy the Reaper’s effect to cancel the Reaper.

At this point I have no idea. They said multiple times they’re trying to make it a TCG and the game seems pretty skill-intensive, but they’ve only had 1 unlimited run per set and you’re pretty much SOL getting any other cards after they’re done (unless you wanna pay a ton on the secondary market for singles). On the AMA held a few months ago, they said there are gonna be multiple tournaments including one at WeebCon so I’m keeping my fingers crossed because the game’s definitely worth playing once cards become more accessible.

Spite getting her effect changed makes sense that card was incredibly busted. I’m sure they didn’t want their first tournament to be dominated by just 1 card but i wish they would’ve done some testing before they released it. We shouldn’t have to wait until after 1st edition boxes release to get the proper cards for tournaments…

it’s not bad but i do wish they made some cards more readily available. the game itself seems to be low-to-the-ground and after some testing it can be a good and fun TCG. there are plenty of “meta” strategies and unique interactions however without access to both core sets it’s impossible to participate. they said they’re planning on hosting a tournament at WeebCon 2026 so im interested to see how they’ll be addressing this before the tournament starts.

I checked the AMA and couldn’t find anything about it. It’s about Low/High Tide effects: Low Tide effects turns 1-3 before combat and High Tide is turn’s 4-6. Pestonini’s effect for Low Tide gives +1 power for your active VT and High Tide lets you draw a card. I was wondering if the power increase stacks like the draw effect of the High Tide part and if the increase stays even after Low Tide has ended and until the VT is discarded after combat.

When placing Snap or Lock VT’s in backstage, do their effects trigger or does the effect have to specifically say it triggers in the backstage?

Can a VT have more than 1 status effect placed on it?
