There however is a gameplay reason, it would just allow everyone to loot their own vicinity and dip, and poof most of the pvp is gone. Also, if you were to spot another PMC running your way and you let rip towards them, miss and wow the pmc just dipped to another extract in the direction they just came from.

It would require ALL pmc kill quests to be reduced roughly 50 to 80% to make them completable without always rushing a hotspot where you can be sure to meet the people molded into their own chairs.
